Jasminestar - what wonderful news. Congratulations! the BFPs really stop you going dollaly

Random thought - my relexologist/ naturopath/ type lady told me a while ago there's a bit of your foot that goes pink when you get pregnant (can't remember if it was implantation actually but anyway). Just below your ankle, on the inside, sort of at the front of your heel. And mine did actually go pink on one side, as pink as when you get a mossie bite. You may already know this... or think that reflexology is cobblers (I'm sceptical but fascinated, and frankly don't care if it works, it's an hour long foot rub) and I don't want to give you something else to worry about... but it's cheaper than POAS!

Hoping you are all well on this beautiful sunny saturday. I'm bored waiting for DH to return from a week long business trip tomorrow, and may well go and see the Ugly Truth on the basis of the recommendations!

    Good News

Got the call from the clinic about 15 minutes ago and it's a!

Apparently after I left the clinic, the 2 nurses were saying "She is so pregnant!". They knew they couldn't say it to me but they were convinced I was because of all the symptoms I was experiencing.

I woke up at 4am with really bad cramping and was convinced that AF was on the way. DH had to go and get me some panadeine to help me out.

Nurse told me there is just so much going on "down there" at the moment and all the hormones make funny things happen. Increased blood supply etc etc.

Apparently my hCG level is 208 (15 days post egg retrieval). She said that was good as by tomorrow they would be looking for it to be at least 50. I have no idea about these things - I hadn't read that far into it yet.

So now need to book in for 7 week scan and let FS know apparently.

It's early days yet but we're still excited!

I think it's important for me to recognise how very lucky I have been in my 1st attempt. I always read these 1st time IVF BFP stories and thought how smug they sounded. It can happen, but to those of you who have been through more cycles and BFNs, I think so highly of you and really admire the tenacity and grit that sees you coming back to try again.

Seph I am so sorry darling - Heal yourself and if you ever need some love let me know.

Taurean and Jasminstar what wonderful news for you both - I am just so happy to see some of us getting through the TWW with BFPs all the very best to you both.

Wishes - It has been way too long I was just too raw for so long and sometimes it is still hard. I am so sorry darling but I do exactly the same thing as soon as I have a BFN I am galvanised into action because lets face it we are all here for the same reason - all the best angel!

Jessie - I have always done pregnyl after et - do you need some specific advice?

Londonmiss - Now I can't stop looking at my FEET!

AFM - just keeping busy until Monday ad trying not to stress - have been listening to an amazing relaxation CD for TWW that my girlfriend sent me from UK and it has made a real difference.
    love to all

mtif - Congrats, It has been a while since I have been able to get in here but I am happy that your got a positive after some complications it gives me hope! Fingers are crossed for you. I have had to use my pessaries rectally the entire time I have been on them...must say it is super fun but whatever works!

To everyone else with good news that is great to hear!

Well, for me, yesterday my brownish spotting turned to clotty blood so I figure it is all over for me, but as I have been told, "dont throw in the towel". Today though all seems to have stopped so perhaps there is hope.

Well, I may not reply much because I can't get in much but thanks for letting me watch your stories it does really help the process. Will let you all know on Monday afternoon my final results.

Jasminstar, congrats hun! Your levels are great

Seph, sorry about your BFN but I have a good feeling about the blastie. Both times they worked for me! Good luck hun and I hope it's your turn next, you have been sooo patient and so deserving!

Airline, high progesterone levels are great news as they fully support your pg. Let them rise nicely sweets!

Taurean78, congrats hun! Wishing you a H&H pg! I have to tell you, I think some of the girls who have got pg first time with IVF, sometimes they don't realise how hard it is for the others who have been through countless cycles as it was relatively easy for them. I am one of those lucky buggers, but I have to tell you, I have so much admiration and respect for those who just keep going and going, I take my hat off to them!

For those still waiting to test, GL girls and I wish you a nice BFP!!

For those who weren't so lucky this time, don't give up hope lovelies, I really hope and pray it's your turn next cycle!

    Hi everyone!

Congrats Taurean78, that's fantastic news! All the best for a healthy and happy pregnancy!

Hello to everyone else too. Sorry for no personal responses, I'm having trouble keeping up. I'm popping in to say that spotting turned into a real visit from AF and the faint second pink line on the HPT was probably an anomaly. I'm not even going to get a BT. I'll start our second IUI cycle on Monday, so I'll probably see many of you back here in two weeks time. Good luck to all.

A huge congratulations to Taurean78 and Jasminestar!! What a fantastic result! I am so happy for both of you!

I am sorry for those of you who have had a BFN, I hope you get your BFP on your next attempt!

Taurean78, can I please ask what kind of symptoms, you have had over the past week? I only have four days left of my 2WW. My blood test is on Wednesday 26th. I have been getting small period like cramps on and off and wake up during the night with them. I have never had these before, but its hard to know if it has something to do with the Crinone?? I also have sore boobs.

This is the longest week or so in my life. I just can't wait until Wed to know either way!

Good luck for everybody else in their 2WW. I am you get your BFP!!

    Have a great weekend ladies!

    Symptoms for amy_99

I have been REALLY bloated the last week or so. To the point where I couldn't do any of my pants up and had a visible gut (never had an ironing board stomach but this is ludicrous!). The cramping seems to happen every day at around 4pm but also happenend in the mornings within 3 days of ET. My face broke out, I am tired and just have a shorter fuse in general. This is the reason I had the clinic bring forward my BT as it was meant to be on Monday. I am a teacher and felt like I was going to lose it at one of the kids! Also snotty nose - which can sometimes be a sign of pg. I was on Pregnyl shots for luteal support and my last one was over a week ago so hope this all helps.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone.

Hi Ladies. I FINALLY get to join you in here!!! It was a gorgeous day yesterday. Accupuncture early, followed by breaky out with DH, then my first FET, then Accupuncture again!!! Followed by a relaxing day at home........until about 7pm when I started having these little panic attacks (or something like that). I just kept on getting really sh***ty.....possibly the drugs and the stress of the day!! Anyhoo could that have affected by litle embryo???? I'm worried about it this morning and know i shouldn't be!!! Final BT on 4 September.....the same day we fly out for a 4 day weekend to a gorgeous resort!

Also is anyone doing to a HRT cycle.....ie taking Oestrogen tablets and prog pessaries (no injections! it's been great!!!)??

    Help please!!

Firstly, a huge congratulations to all the women who got their BFP this month!!! That's awesome news & I am wishing you all a H & H pregnancy. xx

Secondly - I am 8 dpo & 9 dpiui. My problem is I don't want to eat ANYTHING (but am forcing myself). I feel "big", my BB aren't sore - but seem huge!! TMI warning - I could put my brothers to shame with gas, but having trouble with "movement". I have also had a pimple breakout on my face, not pretty ;(

I also have cramps across my lower belly & constant back ache (near my tailbone)

Has anyone else had this & if so, how did you get things "moving" (firstly, lol). And is this bad?

    Thanks all.

    Hi Ladies

Taurean78 - thanks so much for responding with your symptoms. I have had very similar symptoms, so that gives me hope! Again, thanks and congratulations!

Baby2Bee - good luck for your 2WW, hopefully it won't go as slow as my 2WW has gone! I doubt very much that your little panic attacks would have affected your embryo. I have to admit that later that night with I had my ET, I was driving into the city and got very sh**y with other drivers who didn't know how to drive (which I am normally a really calm driver) and then got sh**ty with husband for no good reason. Must be the stress of the transfer! I will you get your BFP!

colinsgirl - You are not alone, I have had bad gas too and have also been having trouble with movement, until Thursday when I ate three kiwi fruit, that seemed to help, so I have been having two each day and so far its working (sorry TMI). I have also had a few pimples come up and I have never had pimples, not even during puberty! My mum and sister got pimples for the first time in their lives when they were pregnant so hoping that's a good sign! I think my BB's have grown one cup size and I am struggling to do my bra up at the back! When is your blood test? Mine is this Wednesday and I can't wait! I think I will do a HPT tomorrow or Tuesday, depends if I remember to do it before going to the loo in the morning! By the time I wake up I am busting! Good luck with your BT, hope you get your BFP!

    Have a great day everyone!

    Hi Ladies,

Firstly, I'm sorry to hear about the BFN's and wish you all the baby dust for your next attempt

Tauren - that is great news and huge congratulations

Baby2Bee - I think that I am also doing HRT (still trying to figure this all out) as I am taking oestrogen tablets (6 p/day) and prog pessaries (3 p/day) and oestrogen patches (changed every 3 and 1/2 days)... It is great compared to my fresh cycle

MissK - Unfortunately, it is going ridiculously slow so I know how you feel! When are you due for you BT?

I'm due this Wednesday and have gone from freaking out that I was getting period like cramps on day 3 and 4 to now having almost no symptoms at all (only very slight camp feeling)??? I don't feel pregnant in anyway or that my period is coming either.... I'm just trying to remain sane and not get to upset (I have already shed a few tears which is silly as I don't know the outcome yet but just can't help it).

Sorry to those that I haven't mentioned as I am still trying to catch up with all on the thread

Good Luck to all those with BT's coming up this week
