    Hi All

Well I have been up since 3 and finally POAS at about 6.20 and it was a BFP - I then did another one and it was also a BFP. I am in shock and am heading for a BT at 7 (I literally cannot wait). I can't stop crying/smiling...I know we have a long way to go and Wednesday will be my lost son's birthday but I feel like the universe is trying to right this wrong.
Will stop babbling will let you all know BT results.
    Much love

    Hi dellydoo,

Congratulations!! How exciting! Well I was wide awake at 4am this morning so I decided to do a POAS as well and I got two lines!! I am not due for my bt until Wednesday though. I was so excited I couldn't go back to bed, so I cleaned the oven, cleaned the bathroom and did three loads of washing!!

Can't wait to see how your blood test goes but it definitely looks like a BFP!! Yay!!

Just on the train so keeping it nice and short!

    Have a great day ladies!!

    Hi Ladies

Just a really quick one as at work with little time or privacy. And a very slow connection! Thank you everyone for all the lovely wishes - so nice of you all.

Taurean, just had to say how happy I am for you - what a fantastic result. I knew your symptoms sounded the same as mine and I'm also encouraged that this is a good thing. Wishing you a really H&H 9 months
As you I am a little nervous about getting overly excited with such a long way to go but very hopeful

Mitf, GL today with BT let us know how you go. I hope you've increased those hormones over the weekend.

Airline, hope your results today are good and strong. So frustrating to have to wait from Saturday till Monday for them but here's hoping they come back great!

Delly, congratulations - I am so happy for you. An excellent result.

Seph, so sorry to hear your news. Your a brave lady and I really hope that your blastie will work next time. Wishing you heaps of luck and try not to crawl too far under that rock we're all here for you

So sorry for the BFNs. I have been so lucky and have no words that can even start to help with what you must be feeling. I can only hope that next time will be your time. Sorry for those I have missed and the mad rush. Boss is practically over the sholder so must dash but lastly:

Collinsgirl, just read your post as mine is failing to load - hope I don't have to retype. I have exact same symptoms - see my question below. Sorry I can't help looking for answers too:

QUESTION: Is it normal to have lots and lots of menstrual like cramping in the first few weeks as I am quite worried it is a bit excessive. I am also very constipated (TMI) which I think is not helping. Not sure what I am allowed take but prunes are not working as I have been eating them for weeks now with almost no relief. Had a very active weekend canoeing, swimming and walking around the sites in Katherine etc.. which would normally help but not much this time. Any help or advice on what's normal would be appreciated. My FS tends to answer a everything with "it's your hormones" so just wondered.

    Thanks,

    Jasmin

Congratulations Delly and Amy Wishing you both a safe and healthy pg ladies! Well done!

Jasminstar, my 27 wk pg girlfiend from work had heavy cramping for 3 weeks after her blastie transfer. Remember your embryo keeps on burrowing deep into the lining for up to a week after it sticks I think, and then the uterus goes through some big changes, expanding etc so hence the cramping. I still have on/off cramping and I'm nearly 9 wks, all very normal. GL sweets and enjoy your holiday! As for how to get rid of the cramping, I'd suggest panadol (I tried not to take anything and just put up with it, but gave in a couple of times!). Not sure if you can use a heat pack...

GL to all the ladies testing soon, this 2WW thread if going off with all these BFP!!!!!!!

Congratulations Delly and Amy!!!! That is awesome news! So many at the moment, it is so exciting!

Anyone who did pregnyl after the transfer ... how long does it take to get out of your system and can it give you pregnancy syptoms as a side effect?

Jessie honey - pregnyl is HCG which is what is detected in your wee and gives you loads of pg symptoms.

I am shattered just back from Uni - BT results were incredible - 497! Test again on Thursday so am holding out until then. I am so happy
    Love and hugs

    Hello ladies,

Its been a little while since i have contributed to these threads but i thought it was about time i jump back in and what better time to do it than in the crazy TWW.

Well we had a grade 1 hatching blasty (best i have ever produced) transferred yesterday morning and are now just plodding along and wishing the time away till the b/t on 3rd September.

Looking forward to following you all and hearing many more positive BFP announcements! Good luck all!

congrats to Delly and Amy ...wonderful news, and some fantastic no.s there.
a further good luck to one and all who's results are upcoming and big hugs to those who didn't realise their dream this time.

afm, we remained positive all weekend...probably too positive, as the results came back as hCG 90 and the progesterone had dropped a little but is still very high. So between Wed and SAt it only went from 60 to 90. Reading others' results, and the vagueness with which the nurse answered our questions, we're not holding out much hope. Our FS called us, and we asked for it straight, and he said it could indicate an eptopic pregnancy...or he said that with artificial help the figures can take their time to go up. (think the latter was to make us feel better) DH is like (OMG how can you get an ectopic when embryo's not even fertilised in tube???) Sorry to ramble, but that's the way it is. So now as usual in this whole experience we wait.

It's a BFN for me, which was expected as I had some more spotting and AF arrived yesterday. So its a month off for us and then hopefully back for an FET in Oct.

Airline - sorry to hear that your levels are still low. that they continue to rise over the next few days and everything sorts it's self out.

Congratulations Delly & Amy. Wishing you all the best for a H & H pregnancy!

Airline - sorry to hear that. My first scan at 5 weeks 5 days (required for flight to UK) my FS told me I had an ectopic. I then had to have a second more detailed scan, and the scanning specialist told me that "with respect, the doctor is entirely wrong". So hopefully yours is wrong too. Good luck.

Delly honey, was thinking of you all day and am so happy to hear of your BFP. Many many and wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy. Will keep an eye out for you on the pregnancy threads and am already looking forward to seeing your Birth Announcement.

Airline, I'm sorry about your results, but hopefully it all works our in the end - there was someone on here a few months back that had low HcG and is now into her second trimester - you never know.

Mitf, sorry to you as well. I hope you're holding up okay.

AFM, I started spotting on Friday. Spotting on Saturday. Spotting on Sunday. Spotting on Monday (today) - 14dpo. I have had cramps and some back pain, but my bladder feels full and my bbs have been on-and-off sore. I went to my GP today and insisted on a betaHcG test, even though MIVF will be doing one on Wednesday. I figure if this is another chemical pregnancy then I want it recorded, but won't get the results until Wednesday anyway.

But in the meantime, has anyone heard of my symptoms being consistent with implantation bleeding? Can it last this long? Or is this just AF taking her stupid time AGAIN?

    Love to you all,
    Seph

Seph - thanks for your thoughs. Obviously we are disapointed but also just happy to have a definitive answer. Your spotting sounds similar to mine. I started spotting Wednesday. BT Thurs showed HcG of 21 and no spotting. Fri more spotting. BT Sat showed HcG of 24. More spotting Sat, before AF arrived Sunday (16 dpo). BT today, Mon no more HcG. I thought my first spotting may have been implantation bleeding but now just think that was when our little embie started to struggle. I had cramping prior to that which was consistant with implantation but something obviously just went wrong Wednesday. I also had on and off sore bbs, probably from all the changes in hormones.

Airline - Darling that is just devastating news and I am so so sorry, one thing my FS said though was that people who get chemical pgs get babies - I have been holding onto that since January.

Mitf - I am sorry about your BFN darling.

Amy - congrats - I hope to hear fantastic numbers soon honey!

Welcome Paula - hatching blasties have the best odds - best of luck.

Hi Girls. Fantastic news with those who have BFP's! :hugs: for those who have received the BFN's. Fingers crossed that the next cycle is the BFP you've been praying for!!

AFM: I had FET on Saturday just gone so I'm 3DPT (I think!). I've just been for my blood test to see how levels are going. No symptoms at the moment (not that I expected any anyway). I have had however some light period pain and in discussing this with the nurses this morning, said it could possibly be implantation. I'm justing chilling out though.........don't won't to get our hopes up. Last night I was really bloated/uncomfortable with a bit of gas (sorry TMI!!!!). I'm on Progynova (4mg) 3 times a day and Progesterone Pessaries - 1, 3 times a day. Any idea what sort of levels I should be looking for today? I have not really paid any attention to actual numbers in the past.

GL for all those in the TWW with me!!! Final BT is on Friday 4 September
