    Morning everyone,

Well so far so good, no sign of AF yet rearing her head but I don't think I know my body anymore...

Lyra ... I don't really know what to say, I know what you mean, some staff are really detached where I go too but my embryologist was awesome, she was so excited and the doctor that did my Et as well but the other staff were just there if that makes sence. I would be awful in that job cause I would get so attachyed to everyone I meet. I did ambulance work for 6 years and only resigned last year because it was getting harder not to personaise jobs.

Wishing baby ... I know I shouldn't but I just want to know, People really underestimate the TWW. I didn't think it would be this bad but I was soooooo wrong. I just want a Pos HPT or AF, at least then I would know. At least I could prepare for whats ahead either way.

Babysteps ... So sorry for your BFN just keep positive and look towards the future.

Everyone else welcome and lots of and hugs and kisses.

I hope this is the right place to post, fugured the Jan TWW spills into the feb one...
Anyway, I had a day 3, eight cell beautiful embryo transferred today. This is our second ICSI cycle and we got 7 eggs but only one fertilized, hence the day 3 transfer.

    to you all,

    Hi Ladies

Well here I am back in the TWW for the 4th time (with numbers 6 & 7 on board). Had 2 day 3 embryo's transferred today, 1 was a perfect 8 cells the other at 5 cells. So BT is scheduled for the 16th February which is 2 days before my birthday. I am probably lucky as I will have lots of distractions this TWW as I start a new job on Monday so will have lots new to learn which will leave little time to dwell on what's happening. Although I do plan to start POAS on Friday 13th.

I'll have to read up and see where everyone is at but special mention to Meredith, yay on having 2 on board. Did you manage to get any in the freezer as well? From your transfer we will only be a couple of days apart with our BT's. you have some good fighters holding on by their fingernails.

    Welcome KellyD!!!!!

Hello you everyone els, hope the 2wW is not sending anyone too insane.

AFM: My BT is next Monday the 9th, but I"m afraid to say I feel a bit pre-AF today, a bit crampy and still spotting......but I guess it aint over til it's over! Too scared to POAS, but only had last pregnyl anyway so it would show positive now.

    How is everyone else doing?

Neptune= Good Luck with BT on Monday
    Grub17=

AFM= Well I finally got brave enough to POAS today and it was a BFN so I am fully prepared for AF to arrive on Wednesday and to start all over again I am wondering if I should talk to my FS about maybe moving onto IUI's but I don't really want to be starting anything like that so close to moving house. I guess I will just have to wait and talk to my FS.
Sending lots of Sticky Vibes and Baby Dust to you all with the high number of us in the TWW there has to be some BFP's GOOD LUCK

    Hello Everyone,

Wow, so many are going through so much. Even though I'm going through the same thing I feel like I'm on the outside looking in. I feel like I should take a POAS and get it over and done with. I just don't have the a sense of anything going on down there. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't feel at all confident. To be honest I feel quite empty.

Rob - I'm beginning to feel like you. I need to know so I know how I should be feeling. Should I be happy, sad, angry, distraught??? I just don't know!

DrGirl72Wannabemumof3 - Welcome! Yes you have come to the right place. Excuse my rant. I hope you find the comfort you need with these girls. They will look after you.

Grub17, Kelly D, Meredith D- Best of luck girls. Fingers crossed that your embies huddle in safe and sound for the long journey ahead. I wish the best for you xx

Wishing baby & Neptune - Don't work & study too hard. Best of luck for your BTs

Hope I haven't missed anyone. Not very chatty tonight. I'm a bit down, but I'm sure I'll feel a little more upbeat tomorrow.

Goodnight girls. I'm praying for lots of BFP for us all very soon xx

WLAB - So sorry hun I really hope you are feeling OK and that your new FS provides answers and hope. Thanks for being a great positive role model in the dreadful 2WW, and I truly hope March is your month.

Neptune - hope you got your essay done and you are cruising along well

Rob - hey we have BT same day - this friday!! Stay away AF stay away....

Baby Steps - sorry this wasn't your month either, I hope you have a wonderful holiday and you will return home to a BFP some day soon

Wishingbaby - stay away AF - maybe maybe she will, I have my fingers crossed for you

KellyD, Meredith - glad you girls made it over - as I keep telling myself it's a numbers game and you have to be in it to win it!

AFM - Had v busy day yesterday and went to the Mens tennis final - awesome!! I am so restless though - feel like a bit of a caged lion, can't stand not knowing....have done poas on weekend but really it's inconclusive - I had 2 early tests which showed feint lines (but then I read ovidrel can stay in system for 10 days so probably just that) so massive waste of time and energy poas. Then tonight on way home went to supermarket - bought 2 hpt but they only had dumb ones which only work of day of missed AF - so they are useless and showed a negative. So really should not have bothered at all. Am just clinging to hope AF hasn't showed up yet!!!

Good luck to everyone, c'mon we have to get some BFP's in here for the new year!!!

DrGirl and wannabemum - welcome and hope we can help you through this horrendous waiting. 2 weeks can be a loooong time but worth it if there is that elusive prize at the end

kellyD - Yippee at 2 on board. Hoping you get your pre-birthday suprise! My BT will be on the 12th is i can make it that far. If AF arrives when due on 10th then will go straight back into FET as yes, we did get one frostie

neptune - 1 week to go... you can do it!!

Grub - yay at joining us with one on board. let this be the month for many of us to exit

wishingbaby - so soory HPT showed BFN. Doesn't mean its defnitely over but I feel your pain darl

jenny - hang in there. Only 2 more days to go and if AF hasn't arrived yet, then things are still looking good

Aleenta - last week craziness. Its enough to send us all to the looney bin!!

AFM - One in the freezer..... yay!!Guess I am still a bit concerned re the stats given I started with 13 embies but at least its a touch better than last cycle. I am beginning to truly think that a) this whole IVF business isn't great for egg quality ( I was having much better success just with OI/IUI!) and b) my clinic must have much stricter guidelines for freezing than some others. I know a few people who get none or barely any frosties with my clinic but get on BB and hear of people with 5 or more blasties frozen. Guess at least if we need to use our frostie, it will probably be a goodie which is the clinic's whole reasoning but i can't help feeling that maybe some "poorer" ones might still make it given the chance.

Hey Aleenta so we do, I don't know what I am supposed to feel if anything. It's weird and seems to change. Damn hormones. I had last pregnyl inj last Wed and did have a BFN on Sun (yes I knew it would be too early but I couldn't help myself) I am just on Crinone cream and if that still affect hormones then it sucks. I thought that was just to help with the lining.

Spring this is my first IVF cycle so it's very surreal, I have no idea what to think feel or expect and I am the most impatient person at the best of times so there you go.

Everyone else take care I am sending you all and hope we all get BFP's yay. Night

    Hi everyone

    Hi everyone.
So many of you to chat to - so sorry if I forget anyone.

Whishingbaby - Good luck waiting, hope you get a BFP

WLAB - so sorry darlz about AF- hang in there and might see you in here later down the track.

LS - welcome. I know how you feel - this is my first time too. I am learning about all the symptoms etc you get from the hormones.

Babysteps - so sorry about your BFN. Hope to see you in BB sometime in the future. Good luck with everything.

Neptune - hang in there and I hope we both get BFP's. Although I am also feeling that AF is coming.

Good luck to everyone waiting and hope you don't go crazy.

AFM - I am up to about dpo11 - I did an early HPT yesterday which was BFN. Normally I don't want to do tests because I don't want to Jinx it but because I thought it might be a bit too early I thought I would, if that makes sense. Now I wont do another one until my AF is due which will be about the 7th Feb (my birthday). Although my cycles are normally long so it probably wont come until later than that.
I have had many symptoms of being pg like being very dizzy but now I am getting headaches which is normally a sign that I am going to get my AF in a little less than a week.
But perhaps my body just hasnt registered yet that I am pg - who knows, positive thinking I suppose.

Sending lots of to eveyone. All the best xo

Meredith: I'm so happy for you that you got your 2 nice and snuggled and also 1 in the freezer. As you said I think some clinic's are much more stringent on what they consider to be good embryo's. It seems a lot of girls in here have clinic's that only freeze blasty's, where mine does day 3's as well. I remember after my EPU we had 9 A Grade day 3's which they chose to freeze and then another 8 which they thought were a bit doubtful, but of the 8, 5 then kept growing to blasty and made it to freezing. It is really hard to know if your little ones will keep growing or not and I suppose each clinic has it's own reasons why or why not is does something.

AFM: Well had a little bit of staining last night from the FET, this is the first time that has ever happened. Although thinking positive as my FS commented that my lining was in really good shape, so obviously when the transfer was done a little bit of blood came away. Although it is all good now. I'm also feeling very bruised as well, almost like when I had my fresh transfer (when you are still all swollen & sore from the EPU). It is definately not a cramping feeling, but like when you have a bruise and you press on it (kind of radiating). So going to take it easy today now that we have our Airconditioner (although it is drizzling rain at the moment - not that that isn't a good thing).

Everyone else: Hope the TWW isn't making you all too insane and turning you into Crazy Ladies.. MMMMMM Who is going to get our first BFP for Feb, there has to be some in this group for sure....

Hi Girls. I've been reading this thread for the last hour and it's really helping me with my TWW. Through the thread I have cried, laugh, cried and laughed again!! Bloody Pregnyl!! I'm on my 2nd IUI - it's been 9 days since my last IUI (sounds like an AA meeting)! I'm due for a blood test on the 9th as well!! Best of luck with everyone! Trying not to POAS at the moment but think temptation will get the better of me!

    Hi Everyone,

Well I am officially in the TWW of my 1st IVF cycle - so i would like to join all you lovely ladies in the highs and lows and frustrations or the dreaded TWW. I have one embie on board, transferred at day 5 as a blasty and hatching at the time. Fingers crossed this is the one for me. My clinic said this emb was classed as AA - can anyone help explain what this means? (I might post a separate thread)

Meredith - of my 10 eggs collected, my last one was deemed unsuitable for freezin this morning. I undertsand what you are saying - but the scientist did advise me that it is in fact very common to have none frozen. This spun me out a bit, but I think there is some solace to be found in that fact that if it is not suitable, then it probably isnt strong enough to make it. Then I would be wastiung time on FETs and going through more heartache. Good luck for your 2 embies on board - hopefully you will not need to frostie for some time :-)

I am off to catch up with everyone else. Good luck to everyone and sending lots of stick vibes out there.

Just dropping in to spread some baby dust and wish you all well for your TWW, bring on the BFPs.

Diamond, each clinic grades embies different, but I believe that AA is a great score, like an A+ at high school. Here's hoping it is the one.
