Hey girls, just wanted to pop in and say his to everyone. Congrats to all the girls with BFP's. So sorry to hear about the BFN's though. I'm still holding out hope that we'll all get our little bundles of joy soon.

Krikkit - I so know what you mean about the whole age thing. I'm older than you (30) but I get it all the time at my clinic too. They're like "oh you're only 30, you have so much time up your sleeve, so don't even worry about it". As Seph pointed out though, I have told my nurses that just because I'm a lot younger than some of their other patients, it doesn't mean I want to spend the next 10 years TTC. Why should we be disadvantaged because we're young!!

Seph - I saw that you had your FET over the weekend. Good luck and I really hope you get your BFP this time. I'll be thinking of you.

AFM - I'm in the middle of a natural TWW at the moment. It's my first natural cycle in about 7 months (since before seeing FS), so I wanted to do what I could to check that I even ovulated (it was a bit iffy as to whether I was ovulating before I started seeing FS). So I did OPK's and got a positive surge result on day 18 of my cycle (so ovulation either day 18 or 19). I also had a blood test at clinic yesterday to confirm progesterone levels (also to check if I ovulated). And my prog level yesterday was 49.8 (day 26 of cycle), so nurse said that I definitely ovulated, which is good news for me. At least I know that I ovulated, which will help for FET's. So it looks like I'm a late ovulator with a longer cycle. I'm learning a little bit more each month.

So I'll be waiting to see if I'm UTD from this natural cycle (not holding out much hope but you have to try I guess). Then if I'm not pg, I'll be doing a FET. I think AF should be due around this weekend or Monday next week.

Good luck to everyone else in their TWW.

    Wishes xoxo

Wishes...I know! - its like your so young.. we can make more money out of you....

I have had a change of Dr for the 3rd time for the next protocol... grr... The 1st Dr richardson, semi retired- he flys every weekend to QLD.
The second one Dr Argwal, is still in training and has just started at the practice, she wrote up my last protocol.

The newest one is Dr Rowland, I see him next Tuesday to discuss the last cycle and protocol for this cycle - he has been around for a while from what I can gather and has plenty of experience, he did my last transfer too.. I didn't even see Dr Argwal at my transfer!

Okay, I'm going out on a limb here. I've got a packet of HPTs in my bathroom cupboard, and for the first time ever, I'm committing myself here that I will NOT test before BT.

AF may arrive and give me an answer anyway, but otherwise, it'll be wait and see. And you girls are gonna keep me in check.

So, from a self-confessed HPT addict, I am now joining HPTA - HPT Anonymous. I solemnly declare that I will not POAS before BT.

There. I said it. Now, can I stick to it?

WLAB stands and says "I too am an addict", and I too solemny declare that I will not POAS in this tww. We have all gone through so much to get to BT, I think it is only fair we give ourselves hope for as long as possible.

    Hi Girls,

WLAB and Seph, you go girls! It's so hard not to give in to the evil pee stick (and the digital ones too), I wish I had the strength. I have gone through my fair share of them too, never having the chance to see that lovely 2nd line. My HPT a day before my BT last year was negative, but the BT confirmed a positive. Go figure.

Wishes, GL in your natural cycle hun

AFM, my BT is scheduled for 23/7. Not feeling much ATM, boobies a bit sore but then again they are always sore a week before AF is due. I'm having funny niggly dull pains down there since my FET, but that's about all. I'm not too worried at this stage as I had absolutely no symptoms last year. I've already made an app. with my FS and my IVF nurse next week if I don't get my BFP to start a fresh stimulated cycle asap (with the next AF, not that I wish to get it!!). Gotta have plan B I say...

& to us all in the 2WW!

WLAB and Seph: You both are stronger than me. I gave in last night and also this morning. I am still trying to be sensible and realistic as I have had false starts before but both times the stick had two blue lines within 30 seconds. Possibly a good sign my DH thinks. I took the tests as my tummy was rumbling and was scared it was all over. Now I need to wait until BT tomorrow and that phonecall!!! I hope that your pact holds firmer than mine and when that BT day comes there are some BFPs for you.

Wishes all the best with the natural cycle.

Beata70: Here's hoping that you don't have to use plan b.

Krikkit: I have never heard of all the excuses they were coming up with about your age. The whole reason that you are seeing a FS is that you are wanting a baby in your life now, not 7-9 years, so yes it is important to you. I am at the other spectrum of age yet my FS has been realsitic and not blammed my age, just said it will happen it may take time. All the best.

Ok, in a fit of insanity I destroyed all my hpt's. I was having crazy ideas about testing right now just so I could see what it felt like to see the 2 lines. (last pregnal was on saturday, probs would still be in my system...) then I realised how truely freaking NUTS that would be as I know I would most likely go ballistic when the bt is neg.

I am losing it arent I.

    Damn hormones.

Hugs to all you sweet gals.

Sammiejam: No you are not nuts. Those hormones are just at it again. Well done on throwing them away, I gave into temptation!!!! All the best and hope that BT date comes along very soon for you.

I am joining all you girls in the loony bin. As I mentioned I bought the three HPT's the on Monday just so I had them. They were calling me so of course I had to POAS despite all the info that's been posted on here about when the HCG might show. Of course I got a BFN - why do we do it to ourselves. I felt so stupid afterwards. The clinic rang yesterday morning and said it probably wouldn't show anyway but would in the next couple of days. I'm determined not to test until Saturday now even though I wanted to this morning. Good on you girls for waiting until the BT, I'm just not that strong. The TWW is torture!!!
