    Hi Ladies,

I am popping in here from the LTTC thread so that I can obsess even further during my
    2WW.

Seph, great to hear your transfer went so well. What a wonderful result. My blood test is on the same day as you (I don't really understand how my test is the same day as I recall your ET was on Mon wasn't it?) Very cheeky bringing it forward.

: Hi to all the gals from the LTTC thread and a big hello to those of you I don't know. Many sticky vibes to you all.

AFM - I had FET on Wed (after having lost 5 of my 6 embies in the thaw). Had hoped to get to blastocyst, but ended up with a 4 cell, day 3 embie. I am not feeling very optimistic, but hey, stranger things have happened. Does anyone have any knowledge of the success rates of embryos at 4 cell on a FET? I know... how long is a piece of string.

Hope you all have a wonderful funfilled weekend to help your 2WW go faster.

Also, what are your thoughts on coffee? I love my coffee and only have 2 a day. I have been on decaf for the last 2 weeks but am interested to know anyone's thoughts on this. (The big issues huh? he he)

    Crazy Ladies,

I'm still here, slowly sinking into insanity. I've been trying to do lots of guided meditation, even playing the CD in my car, so that I can keep as calm and relaxed as possible. But yesterday I had so many cramps and back pain - 8dpo, 3dp5dt, I was going mad. I'm trying to think very positively but that means hoping that this has worked and thinking like that freaks me out - if I let myself get hopeful, I'll be a wreck if it doesn't work! I hate the TWW! Plus, I've realised that I have had such a bad run that I'm now expecting AF to arrive, which isn't helpful, and the idea of actually being pregnant is almost too much for my brain to comprehend.

Tantee, my FET was on Wednesday, a Day 5. So even though my BT is listed for 14 days from Wednesday, I changed the date to the Monday before (I would have changed it to the Sunday, but they don't BT on Sundays). So we're TWWing together? Are you as crazy as me?

Now...this thread is mighty quiet...who else is TWWing? I'm confused.

Loops, have a good holiday and break from BB. I'd come out to the Show but crowds and other people's children freak me out...

Thanks so very much everyone for helping me realise that I am not crazy. BT is on Fri 25th, and while the first week of the TWW isn't too bad, the last couple of days is madness every time. Am studying, working full time, have lots of hobbies to keep me busy, but I still find myself wandering around focusing on my body. Its like I can't think properly, and every little thing is a symptom of pregnancy or otherwise.

Tantee, I just remembered your question. As I sit here pondering your question, drinking my morning cup of coffee, I am reminded that I too have often wondered the same thing. In my 3+ years of TTC, I've done everything - cutting out all alcohol, elicit drugs , coffee, caffeine, sugar, soft cheese, smoking (oh, okay, so I was never a smoker, but I still had to stop myself from becoming one!), chocolate (pfft, yeah right), exercise (did you know that any exercise could harm your unborn child? That's what I have to keep telling DH!), I have realised that no amount of cutting things out will give me a baby. Obviously there are some things that are not good for TTC, pregnancy or baby, but on the scale of things, I've got more to worry about than my one coffee per day.

I also found that cutting out my coffee just gave me a headache and made me grumpy. When you're in the TWW you don't need the added stress. I am conscious of my coffee intake, and will substitute the occasional cup of tea for a chamomile, or choose the caffeine-free soft drink. I find the stress of trying to avoid coffee is probably more damaging to my mental health than just drinking it (in moderation) and feeling good about the minor indulgence.

Oh, and check out my Avatar message. You know how I feel.

    Ladies,

TMI: I've just gone to the toilet and there was a tiny bit of light brown cm. I'm 9dpo. I've checked all my records from my other cycles, and the earliest I've started spotting was 11dpo. I've had a good cry, feel sick to my stomach, but maybe there is still hope and this is implantation bleeding? I don't know. I'm devastated. And hopeful. And about to book myself into the psych ward.

Will update tomorrow. I'm thinking of doing a hpt tomorrow - 10dpt, to see if that can put me out of my misery.

Seph, I have everything crossed for you hun I pray this is your turn I had AF type cramping around the same time as you. I had my 5 day embie transfered on a Saturday, and tested the following Saturday and got a very faint second line (you almost couldn't see it). I would test on Wednesday or even Thursday if that's what you want to do, not earlier. Praying for you sweets, you deserve it so much xx
    There is still hope!!

Hi. Seph - it's just implantation bleeding - it's the right time I think? Good luck beata too x

AFM - I'm finally back on the pregnyl and got my first scan tomorrow to see if I get IUI later this week so I'll be back in the 2ww then. hurrah hurrah

BTW - I'm with you on the coffee thing. I know it sounds gruesome and look away now if you are easily upset, but whatever the docs say, it's all got to be put in context. I know the docs want us to be cautious, but there are girls in Darfur who have been repeatedly gang raped whilst pregnant and still gone on to have normal healthy babies (and yet the world does b*gger all to help them....). So I personally doubt a small glass of wine or a daily coffee is going to cause a miscarriage, although I'm not advocating going on a caffiene/ alcohol crazed bender!! My FS keeps telling me, if it's going to fail, nothing will "make" it succeed. If It's a good pregnancy, nothing will "make" it fail.

Hi ladies, Just wanted to wish you all the best in your TWW, you especially you Seph.

Also just wanted to comment on the coffee question, I have a strong opinion , only because on the only cycle I got my BFP (after 6 transfers and BFNs) I stopped all caffiene from Day 1 of injections. I think my problem was to do with implantation, and there have been studies that caffiene effects the ability for the embryo to implant. Not that I am saying that this was the only reason why this cycle worked, but I wanted to do anything I could to overcome this problem and needed all the help I could get.

Just my thoughts, though I do know where you are coming from the other side. Sending lots of sticky vibes xx
