Luckystrike, I hope that the meds are making your body do strange things, and you have a surprise BFP at the end of this week
Farmgirl, I hope your feeling a little better. I am so sorry that you think your DH is ready to give up! I hope you are able to get across to him that this is so important to you. I'm so lucky that my DH is prepared to go with what I want, as I'm the one that seems to suffer the most. He's still convinced that we won't have too much trouble, so isn't too worried at this stage. If we get through the 4 embies we have left in the freezer, and have to look at another stim cycle, it might be a different story though (especially if he has to deal with me falling apart each time I get AF or get a BFN). Hopefully the meds are wreaking havoc with your body too, and you too get a BFP at the end of the week!!!
Kaydee, I'm glad your spotting has stopped, maybe it was an implantation bleed! It's good that you've prepared for a BFN though, I have too, and I think that's best because it's better to think that way and be surprised with a BFP, than to be expecting a BFP and get a BFN!!
Buliej, Good luck for EPU tomorrow!! I hope it's not too bad for you, and you get a decent amount of quality eggs
Nicole, I vote to change the thread name too!! Hope your still feeling positive, and that that stitch feeling is a positive.
Jodie, I hope your cramps are a positive thing too, and your feeling ok today
Meo, Good luck for Friday!!
I'm feeling a lot better today. Luckystrike, I did start thinking about the pregnyl shots the other day, and agree 100% with you. If the clinic didn't think I had a chance, they wouldn't have bothered with the shots. I've still got my fingers crossed for a BFP, but at the same time I'm also prepared for a BFN. We've still got 4 frosties in the freezer, so that's a few goes of FET before we have to look at another stim cycle, which will make it a little easier.
to anyone I have missed
I hope this week goes quick, and we get a record number of BFP's after all the tests on Thursday and Friday
Good morning all,
Just reading back through the posts it seems that we all had an emotional or stressful weekend - well at least we are on the home strech now...
Alloy - glad that you got your shots and that you are feeling positive. they are just want the little one needs to keep it snugg and growing. Bummer about the move of BT day, but hang in there.
Kaydee - it is amazing what the 'lovely' meds they put us on do to our physical and mental state. Last stim cycle I found that AF came when due, even while I was on the Crinone - about 2 days prior to BT day, while when doing FET and using the pessaries, AF does not come till after the BT and I stop using them - and then it takes 2-3 days to come..so I dont know, we all react differently! Glad that you have a positive outcome - i think it just get to that place where we have done all we can, and all we have left is to just wait and put in place the plan for the way forward.
LuckyStrike - i to am at the stage where the crinone starts 'exiting' the body - great stuff NOT. Just shows that it is a product designed by men in labcoats who have no thought for 'keeping things nice'! I'm glad that the nurses have said not to count yourself out...but know how hard it is to belive in it. Good luck and sending you lots of .
Jodie - hope that the AF cramps have stoped. Maybe they were just the little one snuggling in . Hope you are feeling better emotionally today
Nicole S - hope that you are still feeling good and in with a chance!
Buliej - good luck with the pick up and wishing you lots of embies that go onto blasts!
Meo - hope that you had a nice relaxing weekend and are feeling nice and positive.
AFM - thanks everyone for your kind words - it meant alot . For our first stim cycle AF came 2 days prior to test day, with spotting the day before (TMI), so I'm thinking today and tomorrow are make or break days... Had a big chat with DH and explained that not only am I upset at the fear of not having a family but at the isolation (but not from his family - that may have been a bit too much), and after sleeping on it he was far more understanding...so that was good.
Still no pg signs, but AF cramps have settled so who knows. My brain says it is a BFN but somewhere in my heart there is still hope - prob so I will still get upset when the nurse rings to give me the BT results....
Anyway sending you all positive thoughts that AF will stay away. Hello to anyone I missed.
FG
hi everyone, sorry to hear a few of you are having a rough time in this TWW and I still have hope for all of you and pray lots of BFPs are coming up this week.
It is such a trying emotional rollercoaster and it takes its toll in all sorts of ways.
try and hang in there until the BT ladies.
My thoughts are with you all. I'll keep checking in.
Love Emma
Hey ladies, sorry no time for personals at the moment work is doing my head in
I just wanted to send lots of to all.
This TWW is nearly to an end for most of us so am ing really hard that we hear lots of BFP by the end of the week.
I am sure you are feeling the pressure and every day we are a step closer to our BFP.
AFM, am so stressed and am trying to stay calm and positive. My first IVF cycle ended a week after transfer making that day today so stay away AF your not wanted
LETS KEEP THIS AN AF ZONE!!!!
Will pop back in latter to hear how you are all going
HI Ladies. Just lurking and following your journeys. I just wanted to share my experiences with those who are concerned they are not having any pg symptoms during this TWW. I did 2 IUIs and had a range of what I thought were pregnancy symptoms. These included weird niggling in my uterus and what I though was the start of nausea. Both times I ended up with a BFN. Then during my TWW with my first IVF cycle I had no sysmptoms what so ever. I was so sure it was going to be another BFN - but no, to my surprise it was BFP. So, the moral of the story.... our bodies work in mysterious ways and you should never count yourself out until the BT confirms the result.
I am hoping and praying that you are all successful this cycle and there will be lots of belly buddies sharing their stories for months to come!

Hello everyone, just logging on during a quiet break at work (he he) to see how you are all doing after the weekend. Hope that you are all going great and wanted to say thanks for making me feel so welcome with all your lovely messages. Take care all and keep on smiling.
Farmgirl you made me laugh with your comment about the male scientists Very funny but probably true!
BTW the nurses at my clinic say that crinone doesnt stop AF from coming, so I guess we should all count ourselves luck so far.
Alloy glad you are feeling better now. good luck for your BT, you are only a few days behind us the day will come before you know it!
NicoleS congrats for doing better then last time. Lets just hope that AF stays away for atleast 9 months now!
BB73 and Possums - thankyou for checking in on us! I hope that we all get to report our BFPs to you soon
Kaydee - yay for an uneventful day, we dont want any events now! Just smooth sailing hopefully
Jodie65 good luck for BT on the 26th, not long to go now!
AFM pretty uneventful too actually. The clots have stopped coming out so not sure what's going on there. Not sure if I am spotting or not or if its left over from the crinone. Whatever it is, it is I guess 3 days to go now! Still not positive but have heard all sorts of stories from various people that they were spotting and breats had gone down and were still PG, so who knows. Wouldnt it be a loveley suprise! I guess as long as AF stays away I am happy, lets just hope Thursday brings me a pleasant suprise.
Lets hope Thursday and Friday brings everyone lots of good news
