    fingers crossed for you hun!

BG do you think that if I sometimes get spotting before AF, like up to a week before ,that it could be that, or would the hormones stop that from happening? You seem to know so much, I'm hoping you may have more of a clue than me. I feel a bit excited, but don't want to get my hopes up.

spotting usually occurs because of low progesterone - it is possible that your progesterone has dropped a bit, but you're having booster shots, so it shouldn't have dropped enough to cause spotting. i had a very small mis cycle bleed last cycle, but not enough to note. this time nothing at all.

it's a good sign to have a bleed around that time hin - i've got my fingers crossed that it turns out to be a perfect result for you!

and thanks for the compliment hun - i don't know all that much about most things, but for some reason, this journey seems to be a little all-consuming, and i find it easier to cope if i do lots of reading!

    Hi everyone

Just a quick drop in to see how you are all going... I am just so tired at the moment so no personals tonight sorry...

No change with me at all - always tired, sore BBs come and go, bloating and cramps come and go... no idea if any of it is pg sideaffects or caused by the crinone. We are going away for the weekend to catch up with some friends so hopefully that will distract me from b/t on Monday... still having the day off work but nothing organised pampering wise. I am so far behind in my uni study (like 3 weeks and this is the 3rd week !!) that I think I will be burying myself in study in a room without a clock!! DF will be home as well and I have already decided he is going to take the phone call...

Anyway, will pop in tomorrow. Take care everyone.

    Hi guys

looks like there are a lot of us waiting to take the BT. I had my third transfer yesterday - a frozen blastocyst embryo. I had a break between this one and the last one, and have been seeing an accupuncturist - I have noticed that because of her treatment, I have reduced the amount of days of spotting I was having before I got my period. I was spotting early, because of low levels of progestorone.

In both previous attempts, I had severe cramping post transfer and a fair bit of bleeding, because there needed to be a fair bit of forcing to get the cathiter through to the right spot. this time, I asked to be sedated and I haven't experienced any bleeding, and actually - I felt no tenderness or soreness following the procedure. My accupuncturist has been trying to boost my progesterone levels and it seems to have worked because I don't need to have any crinone gel....yeah! She says that the aim is to relax the uterus ... the less twitching and pulling the better.

I am having my BT on Friday 17th.....only next week

Good luck to all of you waiting for your blood tests - I hope you have good results.

HI BG, Pam, Desperately, Chez, Dusty, Kazza & Mary ( if I missed anyone - hi)...sorry for no personals but quickly posting before I go to work.

I have been feeling very out of the ordinary lately - soo tired yet when I am asleep I wake up at the strangest hours for no reason. Not to mention the last couple of mornings where I have had to get up at the crack of dawn to go to the loo - even if I didn't have much to drink before bed! Whats with that!
Work has not been pleasant as there have been a few retrenchments (particularly my mananger who I am close with) so things aren't the same - but I'm trying to remain calm & not let it get to me.

No sore boobs to report but have been feeling queazy on & off, had sharp pains last night but they seem to have gone today. Still early days...fingers crossed for all of us. I want good results next week girls!

Have a good day & I'll try to catch up when I get home from work.

    Hi ladies,
hope you are all keeping well :hugs:

I posted this in the main section but not many ladies know so hoping that you might know as its driving me nuts

On my last IVF/ICSI cycle I got AF 4 days before BETA with no symptoms ..... on this cycle AF has not yet arrived (today is day 18) - I have to call the clinic for a BETA as they generally don't test before day 17.

I have had cramps since Sunday (the cramps are 2x worse than normal and they come and go)

If Crinone does delay AF, how soon after I stop it (last one last night) will AF arrive ??

I don't want to ring the clinic for a BETA yet as I don't want to do this unnecessarily (ie to be told its BFN)....I am also to scared to do HPT's as I have done so many in the past and the disappointment is just too overwhelming

Hi Desperately, I don't use the crinone so can't answer your ??I reckon get your test done, Af arriving is going to be as bad as a BFN same result just find out earlier. Or you may be late because you have a BFP.I reckon maybe the HPT I understand why you don't want to go there, but is the stress that you are going through worth it? Hugs, I have my fingers crossed for you. Let us know soon!!!!!
ME FEELING NOT POSITIVE TODAY!!!!! No symptoms feel just blah, a little excitement yesterday and back to thinking I read to much into it. I did'nt feel positive from the start, I really think insem was tooo far from O, and it's still a whole week before I get test results, but AF is due early Tuesday morning.
How is everyone else travelling, anyone got hopes up because of symptoms?
Ali, I hope this is all good news and not just the hormones, hurry up BFP. If we all can't have them some of us are going to get there.Pam.

Pam - i've had days off and on where i've felt blah too!

i decided i was over the uncertainty, so tested on Tuesday (13DPO) - to find one line staring back, so not even a chance in my mind -i was ready for the withch to show up! and yet, today is 15dpo (last IUI AF showed up day 14) and i have no idea what's going on! i honestly thought if AF hadn't showed, i'd have at the minimum some spotting by yesterday but nothing (cept a nasty gastro bug) - so i'm off to see the doctor today to discuss what i can take for the upset tum while still not sure if pg - and maybe he'll make me be brave enough to try another test....

    Hi all

I hope you dont mind me joining you in TWW.
This is my 1st IVF cycle.

I'm day 8 after ET and am currently on Crinone.
I had my first BT for HCG this morning.
I have just spoken to the clinic and they have told me that pregnancy hormone was detected albeit very low ie: 2 units. I am doing another test on Saturday. This is tough as it could be the remnants of the trigger injection I took on 29 July. Both DH and I are in limbo at the moment and its agony.

Fingers crossed for all of us in this TWW.
    V

Just a thought, everyone, but if you wanted, I could post a list of BT dates for those in this thread so everyone can look in one place to see who's coming up next. If you want, PM me your BT date and I'll stick it up in the intro post.

Though I will warn you that while I will try to keep it as up to date as possible, I will be limited by your cooperation as well as my available time online.

    WDYT?

    Hi lovely ladies

Hi Venus and welcome to the TWW, although you are already more than half way there... I haven't had any b/ts during my wait... isn't it weird how the clinics do different things? Anyway, good luck with your test on Sat and take it easy on yourself...

Hi Desperately - you are a few days ahead of me - I finish Crinone on Sunday night - and since this is my first transfer I have got no idea about your question unfortunately. Sorry - hope someone else more knowledgeable will... I know what you mean about HPTs - I don't trust them (probably because I only ever get the ones that say BFN so I am not going to POAS!!) I hope whatever decision you make it ends up with a BFP!

Hi Mary T - welcome and good luck with your b/t result. You sound like you are on track with your acunpuncture therapy - well done!

Hi to everyone else - I too have had blah days - today I am just so hungry! And I had my first cottage cheese incident this morning IYKWIM... not nice... hopefully there is enough gel left for my little one snuggled up inside me...

Anyway, we are going away for the weekend so I just thought I would say hello and wish everyone a great and restful weekend. Take care all and hopefully I will be back on Monday with a BFP result!!!

    Desperately,

Yes, Crinone can delay AF, sometimes for up to 7 days. If your clinic will do a BT if you don't get AF, now might be a good time to call them and request one.

Hi girls, had a discussion with DD 15 this afternoon and felt sooo stressed and sad thought this is not good if I am preg. So thought blow this I'm going to do HPT I got a faint BFP. But..... most likely 2 days to early. But at least I now have a base to work from and if I do another one it should be stronger. (maybe in a couple of days)not really hopeful though, just would prefer not to get AF unexpected. Venus I had my trigger injection on the 29th as well, how strong was yours? So like you still a waiting game at least until Saturday. Good luck to you.I found some info on HCG injection levels and how long you needed before testing. 10,000 was 14 days and 5000 was 8 days and 2500 was 4 days. So I figure by that 2 days early. How is everyone else feeling? Good I hope. Pam.

    Hi all...

Pam sounds good...hope it does you get a more definite BFP next time

Chez - hope you have a wonderful weekend & all the best for Monday. BTW - I totally understand about uni - I am studying externally & I thought I'd be so prepared this semester but with everything that is going on I am cutting it fine. First assignment due in less than two weeks...aargh what timing.

Am so tired at the moment & have been having these annoying pains between my rib cages...could this just be side affect from Pregnyl? Have only had two injections so far with another two to do. Just not sure if I should be worried...

    hiya all

welcome mary and venus. best of luck as testing countdown continues.

pam, i am excited for you and fingers crossed things getting darker IYKWIM

ali when do you test again? your symptoms sound suspicious in a positive way.

cheryl have a great wknd away and here is for a BFP for you and DF.

sushee - great idea on the BT dates, thanks for both thinking of it and doing it for us. you rock!

    desperately, BG & kazza

due to the crinone (i presume) i have slight cramping and AF heaviness and feel like i have a tampon stuck up me all the time with a few small but sharp twinges in both sides occasionally. i am still in the first week of 2WW so am feeling positive and hopeful about the whole thing. i hope these feelings keep up!

Hi BG, any news? Did you have test at the Doc's and how is your bug going? Maybe it's a PRG symptom.
Chez, is anything happening, do you feel PRG? Roll on Monday.
Hi Mary, is the accupuncture still doing it's job? Less pain, pulling etc I would imagine would mean less stress.
Desperately, how are you? How long will you wait before testing? Can't wait to hear positive news from all of you!!!!
Ali I think we can all say that every time we have injections we have lots of weird pains. Don't worry it sounds pretty normal.
Sushee, thanks for the offer. I'll just stay here not so great with finding my way around as it is and everyone seems to report in so hopefully they do when they annouce their BFP's.
Venus, a day to go good luck for higher BT!!! Fingers and toes crossed.
Dusty, I hope these feelings keep going for you when they are making you feel so positive.
Kazza, Hi hope everything is going well.
Me back to feeling not PRG :who knows, mostly likely another HPT because I am so impatient, but thinking about it may be better to wait a bit longer. HCG shots will be out of my system, but if implantation did happen on day 8.5 Saturday might be to early to get a BFP positive because AF is not due until early Tuesday. There is a reason why they say wait for your BT!!!!I said I would'nt but it was doing my head in, and now I'm doing my head in anyway. Hugs and good luck over the weekend
