Thanks BG, sitting here nodding my head and going same thing symptoms hardly there second booster shot tomorrow, just feel tired and a bit down. Af coming just at or after BT I think would be more devestating. But AF is not welcome anytime, I don't even want to get my hopes up, there seems to be so much at stake with these assisted cycles and more emotion involved.
Ali, I got really fit and healthy in preparation for PRG and thren went on to have 2 more MC depression has followed since and I have put on the weight I lost (took 15 months to lose it) and it found me again over about 4 months. So my diet is not so great I just cant pull myself together. I hope if I get a BFP it's enough to get me on track. Lollies and Junk food have been my problems, anything for that lift, it's not everyday so might not be as bad as I think.

    Hi everyone!

Wow - I missed one day yesterday and look at all that has happened! Lets hope for lots of BFPS for next week onwards!! It is so great to have a few more ladies to share the TWW with! Welcome everyone!

I have already arranged to have the 13th off work for my b/t. This is my first time around with a pg b/t and while I am not feeling too emtional at the moment I want to make sure I am not at work when I receive THE call, regardless of which way it goes.

Luckily I am only taking the crinone once a day and so far haven't had any of the icky side affects that I was warned about IYKWIM... but then again I feel very bloated today and I think I am retaining fluid so I don't know whether it is AF coming on or just more of the side affects of the drugs.

I am trying to keep thinking positive but of course my worry head starts up - usually in the middle of the night and I start thinking of all of the what ifs. And to top it off it looks like I will be changing jobs very soon and that will mean moving to Canberra. I am SO SO SO SOOOOOO hoping that I won't need a referral to an IVF clinic in Canberra... it would be fantastic if the only referral was to an obstetrician. I have another session of acupuncture tonight so hopefully that will help me to feel more positive.

Anyway, shouldn't be doing this at work so better go.
    Take care all,
    Cherylxxx

cheryl sounds like a brilliant idea to take the 13th for yourself. perhaps you could also plan some well deserved pampering. it is hard work this AC and you deserve it!

pam hugs to you, it sounds like you are doing it tough :hugs:

BG can i ask why are you in a 3ww? that does sound very cruel to me.

    to everyone else

crinone is going well for me. not as bad as i expected although reading through the 2ww posts it seems there may be some side affects.

a question- after i use the tube thingo (pessary?) there still seems to be about half the contents left inside. i know it says to expect some to be left inside but is half the original amount about right?

dusty - wish i could answere your crinone question - but so far i haven't had to use it (which i think i'm kinda thankful for!)

my 3ww was to coincide with the ability to get an appointment with the FS to follow up - and is pretty much standard protocol for our clinic from what i've heard - they like to make sure that AF is well overdue before you have BT - when i asked why, the nurse said "do you want to pay for a blood test and then get AF later that day?" so i guess there is logic there...

well, i gave in to temptation today and tested (13dpo) - bfn - i've since been lectured by all and sundry that it's too early, which it possibly was, but i'm the kind of person that can't just wait for AF - i've never had a proper cycle, so i can't beleive that she will turn up when shes supposed to. having said that, i'm now in a mental head space where, if she does turn up - well, i'll be annoyed with her, but i'll accept it. i have to work every day, and getting AF at work and finding out the cycle didn't work, just wouldn't be good for me at all - this way, i see it that she is going to show, and if not - well, we'll test again at the weekend.

    Hi ladies

Dusty - the nurse told me to make sure that all of the crinone was at the bottom of the applicator before breaking the end off - just give it a shake to make sure it is all there ready. My DF checks by using a the bedside lamp light to check the location of the gel before he breaks it open and then after I am finished he checks again to make sure it is empty. Apart from residue left around the inside edges, we haven't noticed any great amount left over. Maybe you could try shaking it first?

BG - try not to focus too much on the POAS result... my belief is that they don't work for me and probably is a bit early to really expect a good result... but I can understand why you did it... I am trying to keep myself distracted with other things and am making social engagements to try to break up the next 6 days, including a quick dash up to Canberra for the weekend. Sometimes it is hard to keep waiting - with all that we have done we should have a PhD is waiting!!

Pam - how are you doing hun?

    Take care everyone

    Desperately seeking BFP Guest

    Hi ladies,
Just wanted to say Hi and good luck....I am quite anxious today because on my previous cycles AF has shown at this time (1 day before BETA) so everytime I go to the bathroom and wipe I take a deep breath!!!

I have been feeling quite crampy since Sunday which has never happened before but this could just be a side affect from the Crinone..... its BFP!

    TO YOU ALL!!!

    Talking Please Please Please BFP's!!!!!

Hi girls. Dusty and kazza sorry about not saying hi, not sure what head space I was in apparently not mine.
BG I hope you have tested to early, I think the BFN feeling is nearly as bad as AF.
Maybe you should'nt do the next test, although a 3 week wait is a bit long.

DS BFP I have my fingers crossed, here's hoping it's the start of a positive chain reaction. Good luck!!!!

Chez good idea a day off and a positive would be fantastic, thanks for thinking of me.

Hi Ali Looking forward to a busy end of this week and next week filled with BFP's.

    Hi lovely ladies

I have had such a busy day today but can't go to bed without finding out what my TWW-buddies are up to!

Hi Desperately - I hope that the cramps are from the crinone and not AF - good luck! When do you have your b/t? All the dates are starting to blur into one for me at the moment!

Hi Kazza and Ali - how are you ladies doing?

Hi BG and Pam - hope things are going well for you at the moment (disregarding all early POAS results of course )

    Take care everyone

    hi gals

BG vibes to you. testing on the wknd sounds like a good plan.

pam - i like you saying ''next week' as it doesn't make it sound too far away to testing now.

Desperately - my nurse told me today that cramps are probably the biggest side effect of crinone so here is hoping that is what it is for you

cheryl - thanks for the tip re the crinone. i think i couldn't see the quantity remaining in the dim light so used the lamp and there wasn't that much left. that is lovely that your DF does the checking for you. i asked my DH to be with me when i did my first crinone (never needed him for the needles mind you) and we both cracked up laughing as it is kind of a ridiculous position and thing to do.

    hey kazza and ali!

i still have sore ovaries from the EPU last thursday but slowly getting better. i am waiting for any sort of symptoms in the TWW but nothing that i can tell, but i am not always very good at noticing things.

tonight was treat evening number 2, 2 days into TWW. we plan to do something special EVERY day or night. i finally feel i have the head space to see friends and be more normal again.

    sleep tight all

    Hi girls,

I hope you are all well. I have started getting cramping this morning and am thinking this is not a good sign, as this is what happened last ET around the same time and AF arrived the day before my blood test. This is my second ET and my blood test is on Mon, 13th.

Does anyone else start crying at the slightest thing? I went to work this morning but ended up coming home because I was too emotional (and also worrying about the cramps). How do others cope at work? I haven't done so before but am thinking of speaking with one of the IVF counsellors - has anyone tried and do you think it helped?

Here's hoping it's BFPs for us all.

    Hi girls.
Kazza I cry and get moody and angry at the drop of a hat and sometimes all at once, I am very glad I am at home because I think I would get the sack.
Desperately I hope things are still going well!!! Stay away AF.

Girls can anyone help? Is day 8 1/2 tooo late for an implantation bleed. When I first saw the discolouration I straight away thought well that's it AF on her way, but since then the coggs have been ticking over. Last night I made DD taste test the carrots because they smelt mouldy to me, she thinks I'm nuts "fine she said" and we are alive today. Also have been feeling a little bit seedy in the evening the last couple of days. I was starting to think what if?????Maybe????Ohhh!!!! but not sure now. This was before the 2nd booster shot last night so I figured there would'nt have been much HCG in my system, I don't know maybe its is my imagination, I did'nt feel hopeful and now I really don't know what to think. Sorry about the big ramble, head is all over the place. Thanks girls.
