I have to say that my mum and MIL are generally pretty good, but I did have one comment from my MIL that got to me. After about 5 months of TTC we told the respective families about my PCOS and the difficulties involved (where my SIL said 'oh thats no big deal, my friend has that and she just took some tablets and got pregnant') so I told DH to tell his family not to ask about it around me. So MIL asks him on the phone (which is fine) only a month or so later (so only 6mths TTC) "how long are you going to keep trying?" Maybe it was just me but it was like she was saying we should probably give up because its not working.
