We are having ICSI also. Dh had a vas reversal in March 3 years ago and we have been trying ever since. His swimmers arnt what they should be, but FS was sure it would work.......clearly not and getting to here seems to have taken almost forever
Hi ladies
I'm on my 1st IVF cycle too. (Monash Richmond). I had blast transfer on Mon and am going crazy, not handling it very well. I swear I felt a couple of period pains today and tonight i have felt sharp pains that last for a sec or 2 - so am not very confident at all. Starting to become depressed actually. I had 8ggs, 5 fertilized, 3 went to blast, 1 transfered and 2 frozen.
Iam so anixous, I am beside myself with this waiting.
The whole process wasnt as bad as I had thought. I didnt do the spray either.
I hope this is our month girls
ps - my breasts are very sore - i think it is because of the progestorone, which i better go take now.
Tracy - I hope you period comes soon! Well my husband has a blockage, so he had to have a testicular biopsy. All went well and they even managed to freeze a straw of his sperm just in case we need to do another full cycle.
Toby - Who are you seeing? I am seeing Lynn Burmeister and find her fantastic even though she wasn't at the EPU or ET. I am that your period doesn't come (at least for another year!). I have been getting period pains since my EPU (and its not due until the 26th Aug), so hopefully it just has something to do with the drugs. My breasts are sore too, it must be the Crinone!!
I just had my ET this morning. They put back one blasty. It was really painfree which I was not expecting! Of the 13 embies, 2 have slowed down, they transferred one and they are waiting until tomorrow to freeze the others. So I won't find out how many frosties we have until Monday. My blood test is on the 26th Aug, so at least I don't have a full 2WW.
Good luck to both of you and I hope that we are all successful first go!!
Amy - Hope you don't mind me asking, but we're looking at IVF later this year/early next year and were just wondering why you didn't need to sniff. In our appt with the IVF nurse, we were told we could sniff or inject. Did you inject instead? And why did you choose that over sniffing?
Tracy - How are those s/e with the synarel? Are they bad enough to recommend me doing the injections instead?
Good luck with your first cycle ladies - I will be waiting and that you all have a good outcome.
