    Thanks for your comments ladies.

Belle, I won't be having a lap done, unless something needs to be done about this cyst. DH & I discussed our options and he is not interested in medical intervention at all, and I am not sure I want to go down that path either, for a number of reasons. I think it would be different if we were ttc for our first.

I am wondering if the cyst could have been causing problems - it was pretty big - though I guess I just have to accept that my eggs have most likely reached their use-by date. It can't be DH, or we wouldn't have got pg by accident last year - had been taking precautions during fertile time (condoms from CD10 onwards - we weren't ttc) so it must have been an exceptionally long-lived sperm.

It's hard not to feel bitter - I was happy with what we have, until then, and I know quite a few women who have successfully been pg at my age, but it seems to be beyond us. I know I should be grateful that we have children and I am - I know there are many women who don't, and I hope I haven't offended anyone.

Yes, it is hard for those of us who have not yet been lucky enough to have had children ..yet! From my perspective I'll do whatever it takes. Ok I'm off to the ACers'

    Goodluck
