As everyone else has said it is very common for women to have secondary infertility. Cysts and fibroids can make it more difficult for you to conceive and/or sustain a pregnancy. My cousin had heaps of cysts from when she was a teenager and was told she'd have trouble conceiving but didn't have any trouble at all, so it doesn't always cause any problems.
