Hi all,

I am just starting my first IVF cycle and am currently @ day 20. I started the Synarel spray on day 18 and that is horrid stuff indeed! I have PCOS so apparently I have to stay on the spray for a bit longer than normal before I start the FSH injections. I am also going to have to start Clexane injections (I also have a blood clotting problem!) at the same time so lucky I am not afraid of needles!

My question is more along the lines of how to tell your family you are doing this as my olds don't have a clue about any of this and I have no clue on how to broach the subject. They live interstate so it is easy to keep things on the quiet but they are coming up this weekend for a visit and I am really in two minds on what to do. Do I just let it be and go through this first cycle and see how we go. Not sure if I will be able to handle this and having mum worry about me at the same time.
