Matthew is almost 5 months old and I am due to return to work in September from maternity leave.

The plan was that my DH was going to finish work, look after Matthew and I return to work full time. as I am the higher earner out of the 2 of us.

Once I have had Matthew and have been home all this time, I just can't face the possibility of going back full time, I would miss my little man just way too much.

Thankfully, hubby has agreed that I can go part-time (since I work for the govt, I am lucky to have this option) and he is going to go part time as well. We are going to look after Matthew on different days, except one day a fortnight, where his nanna will look after him.

I am just so rapt that my hubby has agreed to keep on at work and go part-time, I am rapt that his boss has let him and I am even more rapt that I get to go part time too and spend the other days with my little man.
