Do you know what flu it is? I wouldn't risk the shot if it were me TBH. I would just make sure I keep taking panadol to avoid fevers and what not, but I've also heard different things about the flu vax not being very good.

DH got his for work about 9 months ago and he still contracted influenza A, nasty version of it too.
