    Check out the article on the main site (pregnancy section). Do you know that every year, they guess pick 3 strains of the hundreds circulating to see what to put in the vaccine, before the flu season even starts? And a huge study found vitamin d3 to be more effective against flu than the flu vaccine? Its very hit and miss and so much you need to know before you put guesswork into bodies. Oh, and studies show health care professionals have a pretty low vaccination rate. Article will tell you why.

    I had it at 15 weeks pregnant and also when pregnant with my DD. both are perfectly fine and I have avoided the flu.

    The fluvax doesn't cover all types flu anyway so what she has may not even be covered by the shot.

    I wouldn't get it - either when pregnant or otherwise.

    Thanks for the thoughts everyone. I was leaning against getting it but now I've been told DD doesn't have the flu so I definitely won't.
