Unhappy TMI - my vagina is falling out?

I'm so sorry to all that read this that get offended but i'm having difficulty explaining it any other way.

Basically I'm feeling pain on the LHS of my woohoo *but up there* so it kinda feels like something is going to fall out (er uterus/baby). espec when putting undies on when i balance on right leg and put left leg up OUCH.

what on earth is going on - it HURTS and although it sounds stupid I really don't want to phone the hospital blabbing that my 'V' feels like it's falling off! DP thinks i should but i think they'll just send the men in white coats.

does anyone else experience this pain - and what can we do?

PS - hope all are keeping in the cool - adelaid experiencing heatwave here and i feel like a fat sweaty seahorse

when i was pregnant with my second (first weighted 8.5pound) i had the same thing but i thought it was all pregnancy related. It wasnt in till one night in the bath that i realized (as im not exactly familiar with my body IYKWIM) while washing there was a lump the size of a golf ball hanging out of my woohoo.
i so panicked. I saw many drs and was told i had a uterine prolaps. I found a great dr whom said that all Labors cause some type of damage and maybe my first born was to big. He also said if i go naturally again that i could make things worse as all labors cause some sort of impact down there. It was his recommendation i have a c section. I did this and still i felt like i was falling apart it was doing my head in. Also because something was there my body naturally made more and more mucus as it does to naturally disinfect and cleanse that area of my body.

Meaning changing my undies many times a day and wearing liners too. In the end enough was enough and i saw the best gyno i could see and he said u have a uterine prolaps where the uteris has droped down due to weight of baby. Ur ligaments are over stretched. I had a laproscopic ventro suspension to repair this damage at age 21. And it made all the difference...... i do hope that maybe this helps. I m not saying that's whats happening with u i am just saying that's what happened to me.

Sounds very uncomfortable. Hope it's not as major as a prolapse - but worth getting it checked out. Dr's aren't going to judge you for getting that sort of pain investigated, and it's better to know than to stress out.
Does the pain come and go, or is it consistent? I ask as I was never really aware of my cervix until bubba started stamping on it recently and YOUCH that hurts!!! I find it comes and goes though, depending on what position she's in.
Hope you get some answers and some relief soon.

i would get it checked out. I have a slight prolapse, and, i get where squidipa is coming from..
They wont get the men in white coats after you.. i am sure they have seen lots worse, and come across far more difficult patients. To put your mind, and your DH's mind at ease, get it checked. Perhaps they can do something now, or, again, like squidipa, recommened a c/s to prevent to much further damage.

they have presasarie ( i know i spelt this wrong but sounds like that) rings you can use its like a curtain ring thats flexible rubber like and the gyno inserts it up there you take out and wash tho but it helps support the uterus. This didn't work for me tho but may for u if u have a prolaps.

thanks for that. so far, has not been an issue with this preg, i used to have lots of 'my bits are falling out' feelings (physically as well) while af was visiting..
So far so good thou, but, after this preg, once we decide if we are to stop at 2, will perhaps see what can be done to fix it more permantly, as i hate that feeling.
