    Check with your GP/Osteo I was using deep heat just not the anti inflamatory gels last time round for my pelvic instability/back pain on the recommendation of my ob and physio

    I think you should invest in a wheat bag rather then a hot water bottle. you can get them from spot light for about $20. I found mine near where the candles and the oils are kept.
    Is it possible for you to go have a pregnancy massage? I had one of these as i had heaps of back pain, i must admit it did only help for a week, but it was the best week ever!

    I have a back injury at the moment...and my saving grace has been swimming - in a hydrotherapy pool if possible

    I agree definitely a big wheat bag, they are wonderful.

    Also when I was pregnat with DD I had pelvic instability and back and neck issues from a car accident and I did hydrotherapy during that time and it was really good and helped me get through the pregnancy. But I was in pain from quite early on... sooo hoping it doens't start early this time!
