Lilydust, we are not a couple who ever (or will ever!) get a whoops baby either!! I wish That would have been soooo nice and less stressful. There definitely won't be another baby for us after this one though because, to be honest, I just can't do HG again. Everyone is different but for me I feel like this baby is such a bonus anyway. He/she took so long to get and there were many obstacles so am going to count my blessings and have my two (a five and half year age gap seems quite a bit as it is!). Anyway, am going to get my tube tied either during a c-section or post partum.

I am THRILLED to report that on day four of the prednisolone I am seeing HUGE results. Guys, I can't tell you how good it is to eat and not vomit, to drink without needing to be near a toilet right after but best of all to not feel like I'm dying. This would sound dramatic to anyone who hasn't experienced HG but you guys will get what I mean.

I spent ages reading every medical journal article I could find on the net last night. I am very confident in its safety but I wouldn't try it until after ten weeks. If you are past that point, even better if you're into your second trimester, it's sooooo helpful. So far so good.

Today was the first time in nine weeks I haven't vomited, the first time I've made and eaten dinner, first visit to a supermarket AND even the post office. That is more than I've done this whole pregnancy (the sickness started really early.. five weeks and got worse from there).

Hope everyone is doing ok. x
