Not me, but my mum and Aunt both had BC. Both of them made a full recovers and are now living a normal life. treatment these days for BC is really good, with such a high recovery rate. In saying that, Mum had quite a few lumps over her time, and every other time they were fine.
You did the right thing going to get it checked.
