Hi Charlierae,
I am sorry to hear of the loss of your precious children

I am taking clexane inj daily to help balance out my rhuematoid arthritis as i can't be on my meds whilst pg(my rhuematoligist also mentioned lupus at the start of my treatment but he lent more towards the rh. arthritis with my signs and symptoms but my bloods still don't come back conclusivly for rh. arthritis alone ](*,) ). Also from what i understand each condition can have varying reactions/results from the clexane so they will monitor you closely i would say. I get my DH to do my inj as i am needle phobic and even just the wait of a few seconds while i wait for him to do it raises my heart rate and i get anxious.

I think clexane is one of those things that is a play it by ear thing. I was originally going to be on it for a short time along with asprin daily(from transfer until 12 weeks but my OB preferred it if i stay on it as it is to tricky to predict what may/maynot happen with it not being in my system, she figured it was safer to continue taking it to help me and bubs. I will now be taking it until about 36 weeks and then be induced around 38 weeks. They do this so that all of it is out of your body to prevent excess bleeding during birth and after.

I too had pre eclampsia with my DS and had him at 37 weeks (hospitalised from 35 weeks on and off) but this time my BP is still stable ahowever i am yet to have a urine test- i think that will be at next OB visit.

I can not imagine the fear and pain you have had previously and may currently be experiencing.
I hope your little bundle hangs in there and can bring some joy to your family. My for you and i [-o< this ones a winner.

Take care and good luck with the clexane. The only thing i can suggest is alternate the side of your belly you inject as you tend to get bruised and little pockets under them of scar tissue from repeatedly injecting .I have also found the closer to my belly button or out to my hip the more it hurts. I have just worked out i should only have 91 injections to go. YIPPEEEEE

Take care and if you have any other q's i will do my best to answer them.
