GRR why cant my body just suck it up!!!

Mods move me if ya want or need be it wasnt sure where to put this under medical boohoo or 2nd trimester.

i am 17 weeks pregnant and i am sore and uncomfortable and prolapsing. Ive been here before but it was much later on and i have had my uterus lifted once before 7.5 years ago. Is this whats its gonna be like from now on. Im so disapointed in my body and i must admit im frightened of the health risks, should i be putting myself on bed rest? i guess i need medical advice next antenatal is on 15th October next scan day is 14th October my physio is a while away about 4 weeks.

I know its not in my head i can see it bulging out of my woohoo and i have been through this before so i am experienced in knowing what i am seeing down there.

GRR why cant my body just suck it up literally

Big from me too. Wish I had some advice. Maybe try and ring a midwife at your hospital.

problem is with out sounding like i dont want help, they always say well there nothing we can do, rest up. More or less suck it up. I have even been told well if you knew you were prone to it why get pregnant suck it up!

a support belt can help stablize my pelvis as i have SPD but it doesn't help with the relaxed ligaments causing the prolaps. Plus a support belt is really uncomfortable and hurts to wear.

i wonder at times if i was ever ment to have kids.

Of course you were meant to have kids!!!!

I have SPD too and I don't wear my support belt either - it digs into my c-section scar and is too painful

you said it sweet!!!!, and being BIGGER as i am it scrunches in places and can leave nasty marks that get sore too....i also find in orgenancy i can become allergic to elastic. But whats worse is what you said the digging into the scar, Plus my nerves are a little funny this time round in pregnancy.

Just got up and i feel like i have a large lumpy hard piece of toilet paper in my nickers obviously i dont. hard and lumpy like a tissue going through the washing machine.

Thanks mel for you hug. I been a bit emotional about all this i had a ruff trot with Josiah's pregnancy with this and its just getting me down.

thanks diannescruffy for you huggle too.
