hun. It's so hard to know what to do isn't it? From someone who has had a pre-cancerous lump removed, I really think you should go and have it checked out. No-one is going to think you are silly if it turns out to be nothing. It is always better to be safe than sorry hun.
I certainly hope that it is nothing to worry about, but please have it checked. Best of luck hun.
Thanks gals - have made an appointment with my dr but can't get in for a month. Damn it - just realised we will be in Brissie by then. Bugger - might have to scout around for another dr just for this.
thanks Maz for the hounding - typical mother always ready to rush my kids off at the drop of a hat but me....
Ring your doctor and tell them you want to see someone IMMEDIATELY. Tell them you have a breast lump. Most drs will go out of their way to squeeze something like this in, and they have spare appts every day so that those urgent things can be attended to. Trust me sweetie this is urgent (your peace of mind is hanging in the balance). It is important to report any *changes* at all, and the fact that it hasn't gone away after a few months tells me you need to get this checked. If they can't find anything with an US ask for a mammogram as well... sometimes an ultrasound alone is not enough.
Good luck, am not trying to alarm you, but this is a high priority!
Thanks MD - how are you going on your journey - hope you are feeling well and staying positive still!!!
I did ring back to cancel - as I will be in Brissie and explained the situation. The reception gave me a list of Dr they recommend and I have an appointment with one of them tomorrow.
I'm pretty sure it's nothing. Had another feel around last night lying down and although it feels different it's not a 'lump'. Probably just from BF but I will go and get it checked - if for no other reason then to stop Dh (and Maz ) from nagging me - I think it freaked him out more than me

glad ur getting it checked out. My mum has recently gone through the "finding a lump"stage. She had her's biopsied and came back all clear, was just fatty tissue. So dont freak hun, it might just be that. But i do agree with Maz, better safe than sorry.
