I've had them since i was 16 and they can be horrific. everything you've described sounds like a migraine and for me the only treatment was strong painkillers (mersyndol forte is what i was given) and i used them during and after my pregnancy with DD (who was also ex bf). My migraines can last anywhere from 24 to 36 hours depending on the severity.

I'd try and get to a doc and get a script for some stronger pain meds. Panadol with do nothing to help the pain unfortunately
