This is something I ventured in here for to ask about.

I was told I had this gene mutation prior to the birth of my first child.

The doctor gave me a super dose of Folic Acid (Megafol) and I took this during the length of my pregnancy.
I was told that it was believed that this mutation had something to do with my previous miscarriages and lo and behold I had a trouble free pregnancies and healthy babies. Not too sure if that had anything to do with it but I had a string of miscarriages and then, bang, two successful ones in quick succession.

Thing is, I read in the article that those found to have this mutation should stop taking folic acid immediately. However, other articles of this ilk found elsewhere do not state this.

Am I missing something?
