It could be from the trimming of hair. I know sometimes it makes me more itchy and I think its because the end of the hair becomes really sharp when cut with scissors or a razor IYWIM.

I think it would be okay to use the sudocream.

Mmm you haven't shaved/waxed and are having ingrown hairs? As Ali says, regrowth can get really itchy, and to keep the skin moist seems to help too, from anecdotes I've heard.

Try Dermaid for the itching also, as it might be dermatitis. Good luck. its irritating as all hell huh?!

Thrush can occur on the outside without discharge. That's what it sounds like to me, but your doc will clarify it for you. Try to not use liners if u can help it, they can irritate sensitive skin. And if it is thrush, then u need to keep applying canisten consistantly for two weeks. Symptoms can take a few days to go away in this case.

Try taking a bath or shower to ease the itching, then apply the cream. when this happened to me (after the birth of my DD) my doc told me to bathe in detol instead of showering. i was bathing upwards of 6 times a day for the first few days but it got better.

Hope it clears up before Tuesday! you poor thing. xx

I got some dermaid cream to put on. Have been bathing in dettol all day. A cold compress helps soothe the pain. Should I be putting a barrier on over the dermaid?? If so, I have bepathen, pawpaw and sudocream. Which is the best one to use with the dermaid?

I'm no doctor, but i'd prefer pawpaw if it were myself. It's a little more natural. Just my personal thoughts. Good luck hun
