Hi everyone, hope you are all well.
Thanks to you all for the info.
More research i will do for sure. As if i haven't done heaps already.......
luvchildren, i hear where you are coming from, as you will see further down i have what i call the modern day brady bunch.
And i gotta tell ya, it is the hardest thing i have ever done in my life.
I too, have a son that lives with his father, the only difference for me, he is my youngest, just turned 8. And we live nearly 600kms apart. We have only seen each other thanks to school and work committments, twice this year so far.
But for me, it doesn't stop there.
My dh's daughter (15) and i don't get along at all, as well as myself and the dreaded ex wife. It got to the point where my step daughter doesn't come to see us at all and has no contact whatsoever with us. But..... Her mum does. Just yesterday she called my dh and told him that step daughter has just come out and said that she, at the age of 15 thinks she is gay....
For me, not so shocking, i had my ideas on that. My dh doesn't care, he just misses her and wants her back. But her mother is going off her dial. She hates the idea and says she will do all she can to stop it. That poor girl. As if life isn't going to be hard enough for her if this is the life she has chosen for herself, but to not have your mum's support......
I guess it just goes to show, we all out there have a story to tell and we are all linked in some way. Allbeit some of the strangest ways....
Only 13 more sleeps till our first appointment in melb about a reversal. I can't wait but am also so nervous at the same time.
Any way, i'm off for now.
Have a great day everyone.
