    Hi everyone,

Iv`e been reading all the old posts, right from the begining and some of the stuff you guys have been through is incredible, tears of both joy and sadness.

Storm glad to hear your boy is on his way home, when I was younger my older sister took of when she was about 15 and lets just say she doesn`t have much to do with the family any more, not that we havn`t tried. She has 4 children now and unfortunatly she left them about 2 years ago, can`t understand her. I guess leopards don`t change their spots, but that`s a whole other story.

Well I`ll have to give it a try !! Has anyone done the wedding ring one before? loop a piece of cotton through it, hold it inside a closed fist then open your hand out flat with the ring just above your hand and it`s suposed to tell you how many children you will have. My mum used to do it when we were younger. For boys it will swing back and forth and for girls around in a circle. My mum had 5 girls 1 boy and 2 girls and also one more girl after my brother which she lost at about 3 months pg.
I have tried this several times and I get 2 boys which I have and 1 girl which I`m hopping for, give it a try it`s pretty freaky.

well i have kookaburras around me everyday as i live in the country and one has been hanging closer to the back of my property near the house on the power lines. Now that would be an absolute miracles for me as i have had my TR/IVF yet. Oh speaking of IVF, mumof5, got my info today from Westmead. The stuff they send you is amazing. Dea....you will be BFP very soon, i can just feel it Cheers kiya

hey dea, yea Iv`e heard that one too, but it was a needle I think from memory you hang above your belly and it`s spose to tell you what sex the bub will be.
The one with the ring apparently tells you how many children you will have and what sex they will be. There`s so many wives tales out there but I don`t think it hurts to have a bit of faith.
Hi chrissy, patience I hate the word. Though I think that is half my problem as a lot of other ladies would agree it doesn`t help you if your obsessing about it.
I`m going to have tuabl patency test in a couple of weeks so fingers crossed the reason I`m not pg yet is timming. Thanks for your encouraging words though and best of luck to you and your DH.

i was sick a few weeks ago! i had a headache and i went straight to bed as soon as we got home from my son's football training. i have never been sick from a vegemite sandwich. also i was nearly finished from af as there was hardly any bleeding. and when i went to the loo there was a bright red mark on my pants. and i thought that was weird because i was nearly finished.

She is a cow of a thing isn`t she !! Before and after having children af for me lasted about 2 days then i`d get nothing the following day and the next she would come back for a day. After the reversal I didn`t get af for 2 months then it just went crazy for the next 8 months, the last couple of months have been normal have them for a couple of days then 1 off then back again for a day and my cycle is 33 days long, up untill now Iv` been unable to track it. Sickness can mess her up also.

Havent had af since feb and then had my m/c in March (that was NASTY) feels like alife time ago....ahhhh not looking forward to getting it again but then using cloth pads has cut my period down from 7-8 days down to 3-4

I must say when you know the reason why your not getting af it is nice not to have it at all. My first pregnancy was in March 97 had DS in Dec BB fed for 8 months no af, stoped feeding in Aug fell pg in Sep had DS in June 99 fed him for 3 months so no af untill I stoped feeding in Sep, that was nice.
Using cloth pads cuts down af ? never heard of that must give it a try.

Apparently it's because of the chemicals used in commercial pads that cause AF to go longer, & the cloth are natural.Makes you wonder if it is a marketing ploy!!!!!

Well there you go !! Wouldn`t suprise me at all, the lengths they will go to to make money that one if it`s correct takes the cake.
