Thanks so much for your reply and your kind words. Losing Joshua was the most devastating experience I've ever had, but I want to try again eventually as I would love to raise a child ( or two, depending how lucky I am ! ).

My OB suggested an operation where he will remove my fibroid, but only when it's shrunk to a smaller size and hence he suggested that I look into blocking the blood supply first. I just keep reading about how the blocking of the blood supply to the fibroid ( it's called embolization ) is not usually recommended to women wanting to have children.

I feel a bit more positive now about the removal of the fibroid after your friend went to have a successful pregnancy. IVF is our only option as my partner had a versectomy reversal last year which was a failure, so his sperm count is extremely low.
We were so excited to get pregnant with Joshua on our very first fresh cycle, and have one frozen blast ready to go.

Thanks again for your reply, there doesn't seem to be many girls with troublesome fibroids around at the moment ! ( Lucky me, hey ?? )
