my turn: you need to go and get your prolactin level checked, there is medication you can take to stop it. sorry you are going through this

I agree with minniemouse. Have you called your Dr about it yet?

And, more immediately, pick up some breastpads from the supermarket. If you were closer I'd give you the ones I have here. The Pigeon ones are very thin (not noticeable through your clothes).

In the meantime, you can improvise with sanitary napkins or even good quality makeup remover pads (depending on amount of leakage).

    :hugs:

it's only bad at night, and usually after I have had a shower and am not wearing a bra..... occassionally during the day (if I check) some comes out a little... but it's not soaking my top or anything during the day.... when they are 'contained'

I haven't spoken to the Dr about it, I just thought it might be a bit too soon to worry, Dr Google seems to show that it's quite common, and it will reduce after a while..... I thought maybe I would try to stop 'checking' and if it is still bad next week, give the Ob a call then...? I also wore a bra last night and noticed it wasn't so bad.... I thought I'd be okay today, but it seems I was wrong..... I guess I should just wear one until I go to bed, and maybe it will not be so bad....

... I think secretly I want it to be happening, cause it makes it real.....

guess I should stop complaining and just suck it up.... sorry girls.... I just don't know what I am doing....

You don't have to suck anything up... We're hear for you to talk it through and clear your head... Get it out and give advice and hugs where we can.

Xoxox take it easy on yourself. Your allowed to stick your head in the sand for a little whole just don't leave it there. Xo

sorry my turn i didn't realise you didn't want it gone........there isn't really a problem with it in that it won't cause you any harm but if your prolactin levels are high it will stop your cycle from getting back on track. No need to do anything about it if you don't want to, it should eventually resolve itself (although im on the medication once a fortnight for it but thats unusual)

    I just feel sad.... :(

    Be gentle with yourself xxx
I know what you mean about wanting it to feel real though. I think that's why I wanted to avoid a D&C, even though the pain was awful I felt like it was something I needed to go through and it made it easier for me to accept what had happened. I felt sad when I noticed my boobs were no
Longer sore too. It's like with every step back to 'normal' I felt like I was leaving what happened behind and they made me sad.

Have you been to see a councellor? I was offered it many times, but didn't take up any offers. I think maybe it would be good for you to talk it out with someone. It sounds like your still suffering and while there is definately no time line on grief its not good for you to be consumed by it. I know everyone takes their own time to heal but you sound like your really struggling. Wish I could give you a IRL xxx

Not so much that I want it... Its a mixed feeling of wow this is cool, to crap this is unfair..... So I can't resolve how I feel about it.

I have a psych that I see anyway, saw her last week, and will next Friday again.... I am okay, it's just weird, and my brain can't settle and resolve any thoughts.... It's the strangest feeling ever.

I am glad that your seeing someone sweetie xxx

My brain was all over the place too. Now it feels like it was so long ago and did it really happen. Strange. I guess I was only pg for 6 weeks that I knew about and I have spent more of my life TTC than being pg so its used to now TTC again.
