Good to get some food into you Em - everything is worse on an empty stomach. Glad to hear your DH is going to be with you - you'll need him. Take it easy over the weekend and be gentle with yourself.

KitFaeire - lol - the banana pancakes!!!

The Dr said the hospital would contact me about tomorrow- because I don't even know where to go and what time they want me there, when they want me to start fasting etc. So am a bit annoyed at the moment I like to know in plenty of time so I can prepare myself, rather then rocking up on the day lost and late and them somehow them not even knowing I was coming or something. Sorry just had to get that off my chest, if they were to contact me when would they do it? I don't want to have to call them because I hate feeling stupid and them making me feel stupid.

Maybe ring the day surgery ppl specifically? I dont know when they'd call, they might think your Dr has fully informed you. I had to do a 1 hr appt the day before the D&C, they went through med history, height, weight, walked me round and told me what was gonna be happening etc. Unless your already in their system I'd imagine there'd be a lot of info they'd need to get. And it sucks to feel lost and confused when your already lost and confused. I think you should call and find out, if someone gives you attitude, give it right back.

Thanks KitFaerie, I got Dh to ring for me cos I wasn't in the mood to deal with it right now- So he rang, and yep they have no idea about me, but they rang back told me to have an early light breakfast and ring back at 8.30. and that i'm likely to be at the end of there list for the day.

I'm glad it went well, I had spotting for about 6 days, then went jogging which apparently is a bad idea cos I loosened the lining again and spotted for another 7 days. The emotional side sucks, go as gently as you can and so whatever works for you.
