That's fine, saves me money (and I have done it occasionally), but I have to ask...

Poo nappies? Just a normal wash? Yes, has happened on occasion but I thought it would be yicky. Also, line drying only happens about a third of the time. I do try to get it in the sun when possible, but I live in the land of rain so is it still OK to not line-dry and not use something strong in the wash?
Do you not have a Little Squirt to squirt off the poo? I do this, then run the nappy under some water in the laundry tub and rub it together, which removes any remaining discolouration and then it's "clean" and goes into the bucket with the rest of the wet nappies. I actually hardly ever line dry mine. I've never had a stain on my nappies other than purple panadol stains and I put them on an inside line in the laundry to dry, especially in winter. In summer, I'll throw them outside, as it's dries much faster.
