    Training Pants recommendations

Can anyone recommend some good ones (cloth not disposable). There are some very nice ones around.....but very expensive. Are they worth it? I'm looking at the Blueberry ones in particular...ANy advice before I spend some $ would be very much appreciated!

    Hi Soph

I haven't used cloth training pants yet but from a sellers POV tis is what I've found.

Pocket trainers are great as you can boost them up in the early days and for naps and then gradually reduce the amount of boosting so they are trimmer as bub gets older. (eg Happy Heiny and Bumwear)

Yu might want to look for snapping sides for easy clean up of no. 2's

AIO trainers - these are basically pants with boosters sewn in, they look more like underwear and are trimmer than the Happy heiny however they take longer to dry (eg imse vimse)

Jamtots have just bought out their potty praiser system which is a pair of taining pants with a liner you draw on, when they wet the drawing washes away. It also includes a reward chart.

    Hope that is some help

I have got some from big w $6 for a 3 pack also got some from best and less and kmart for about $3.00 each. They work fine and come in a range of colours. The Big w ones have pvc in them and the kmart and best and less have foam in them. They hold 1 wee fine (no dribbles down the legs) but wet. I would suggest you try one of the cheap ones first and see how you go before spending lots of money on something that you may only use for a few weeks.

I bought terri toweling training pants from big w they were in pack of 3 also. cant remember the cost. I find that they are very absorbant when you have accidents which is good.
I wouldnt spend a fortune on anything..... they are quick and easy to dry and you want them to feel wet wjen they have accidents also so nothing to aborsbant.

I did buy the disposable aldi training pants also for when we go out. We just got back from QLD on holiday, we started TT a week before we left. They were great as he still recognises them as undies and you can pull them on and off as much as you like. They were fantastic on the flight home when he didnt want to use the airplane toilet, not that I blame him. LOL
