I have some from Snaps Australia. It's much much softer than my BBHs. Depending on how much you want it's quite cheap too.
hi all
I'd like to have a go at making some fitted cloth nappies and wondered if anyone knew if you could buy the bamboo fleece like in the BB fitted nappies, and if so, where from.
cheers

Thanks Kim. Have you made some yourself? How many layers did you use?
Hey chick, nope haven't made any nappies, only boosters for which i use 3 layers. That's as much as the overlocker can cope with. It's pretty thick. I'm going to use it for soakers in some fitteds as soon as my new stash arrives in the post, and I think I'm going to use 2 layers in the wet zone. I'm trying some cotton velour for the actual nappy and that's pretty absorbant too.
ETA they ones I've made are my favourite boosters. The Snaps Australia fleece is so so soft and really absorbant. i won't be using anything else as a soaker for this bub.
Well I got excited, cut up some flannies and had a go at making a pocket nappy from a pattern I found online. It turned out ok (after a few sewing machine hiccups), and I think with a bamboo soaker and a microfleece liner it might just work. I've got 14 weeks to perfect the art! Thanks for your tips. Might get some bamboo from Snaps!
