I saw an endocrinologist for my PCOS. He was fantastic. An endocrinologist is a specialist specialising in hormones.

when testing my hormones gyno found that my body is aging way faster than the average person my age. Hope you find some answers.

I went to my gp a few weeks ago asking to be tested for a hormone imbalance.

She told me she wouldn't test hormones as they fluctuate too much at any given time. I wasn't really happy with that answer. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could do next?

When I first suspected hormone imbalances and PCOS my own GP wouldn't do any type of blood test.
I then went to a different docter and asked for a referral to an endocrinologist (who specalises in hormones) THE BEST DECISION EVER!!!!!!!
She diagnosed PCOS, hormone imbalances and insulin resistance!! YAY!! FInally some answers.

Not sure where you are located Charmlea and GRacious Goddess but I can reccomend an AWESOME endo in Sydney!

I am about to start seeing a lady from the Chinese Medical Centre. She specialises in hormonal imbalances and other related stuff. I am expecting her to do accupuncture and give me herbs to take. I am placing a lot of hope in her that she will help me get pregnant by balancing out my hormones so I ovulate more regularly.
