hun. I am so sorry that you are going through yet another difficult patch The NICU rollercoaster unfortunately is a long and trying journey. I know this from my friend who has a healthy 4yo that started life as a 24w+2 premmie. Despite the fantastic result, I wouldn't wish the stress of the first months of his life on anyone. I so wish that you had the start to motherhood that you were expecting

Infinity, I don't know that any words will make today easier for you, but try and hang in there. Heidi has been a fantastic fighter so far, and after such great weight gains she is in a stronger position to face this next challenge. You are all in my thoughts and prayers hun, I hope there is better news soon

You are right, that is sooo unfair. She should be safe in your belly and instead she is fighting for her life again. There is nothing that will make this okay, it's just crap. I am sooo sorry you all have to go through this again. Heidi is a tough little cookie though, so hopefully with a bit more weight behind her this time, she will come through it AOK.
    Thinking of you, as always....

Aaah darling it's so hard & my heart is hurting for you.

Right now you are her strength. So sit there & talk to her. Tell her how loved she is. Tell her your plans for her. Tell her everything. Pray. Visualise.

Keep pumping those breasts. When you're low plug yourself into the earth below and the sky above. Just KNOW that you are supported. Heidi is supported.

This is a living hell for you - but you will live through this & you will tell the story one day. Some of the story will be told with a smile & a giggle & some through tears. But know you will get through.

So many loving hugs coming to you. I have lit my candle for Heidi & it's burning brightly.

Woohoo on such a fabulous weight!!! My DD was 2.56 kg at birth, so your tiny little fighter is getting much, much closer to the size of a small term baby.

Glad to hear your DS liked the playroom, that would sure be a great option to have when you need it.

I bet that light at the end is getting a bit brighter each day now. What's the next goal for little Heidi? The open cot?

I keep thinking about your beautiful little lady and wondering how she is. SCBU babies move from strength to strength and soon she will be home with you all. Does your DS 'know' her yet? I tried taking DS to meet the DDs but it was too overwhelming and he would get confused by the sheer number of babies mummy was claiming to be hers
