Yes, but my DD was 2 and 10 months when DS was born.
Similarly I carried him in a sling for ages. Heck i still do it. But she was that little bit older IYKWIM? Sometimes at nearly 4 she still occasionally asks to go in the stroller.
BUT saying that I was so glad I didn't get the doulble as it would have been a total waste after only a couple of months.

Hmmm, that is what I was thinking. If he was closer to 3 when this bub was born I would have no qualms about the single pram, but just knowing that he won't yet be two I don't know if he will be able to handle the skateboard at 2.5 for long lengths of time. I tried him on it at the shop the other day and he is happy to ride it but when he has had enough he just gets off. I'm imagining chasing him around shopping centres!!

I am hoping that the skateboard will be a total novelty for DS when baby comes along! REALLY hope!

I'd get a simple twin pram for the times when you will definately need one. Like when you have to go on long trips, or you know he is going to be tired, or going to the zoo etc. You don't need a very fancy, expensive one, just one that you can use easily and when you need to. My daughters are 15 months and 3 yrs 10 months now and I wish I had a double pram for some of my trips.

My DS was 27 months when Bub came along and we've only ever needed the skateboard or sling.

He loves he skateboard and will ride on it for hours. Having said that he dislikes the pram and hasn't even sit in it since about 20 months

I'm searching for a second hand twin pram ATM for when #2 arrives. I walk a few times a week so this will be a pram that really only will live in the carport, plus we walk to playgroup and to the shop for bread and milk. I already have a Bugaboo and Maclaren stroller that we will use if we go away for the weekend.

But for shopping etc, Coles has a twin trolley that I'll use or I'll put DS in the trolley and new baby in the sling.
