I'd get a simple twin pram for the times when you will definately need one. Like when you have to go on long trips, or you know he is going to be tired, or going to the zoo etc. You don't need a very fancy, expensive one, just one that you can use easily and when you need to. My daughters are 15 months and 3 yrs 10 months now and I wish I had a double pram for some of my trips.
I'm searching for a second hand twin pram ATM for when #2 arrives. I walk a few times a week so this will be a pram that really only will live in the carport, plus we walk to playgroup and to the shop for bread and milk. I already have a Bugaboo and Maclaren stroller that we will use if we go away for the weekend.
But for shopping etc, Coles has a twin trolley that I'll use or I'll put DS in the trolley and new baby in the sling.
