We bought a fisher price aquarium bath originally. I agree, they are a waste of money. DD hated the hammock as it left her cold. The bath is small and they soon grow out of it.
We use a bigger baby bath in the bath now with one of us holding DD and the other washing.
If we had our time over, we would get a lay back seat for the big bath.

for my first 3 babies I had a normal baby bath no stand.. just used the dining table.. but I found one with a stand at a garage sale for $5 with baby number 4 and kicked myself for not buying one sooner

If you live close enough you can have mine I no longer need it obviously but I really think they are great.. Just go for the cheaper way.. I personally don't think you need to buy brand new..

I was lucky and was given a set of drawers which has the bath under the change table. It's fantastic. I'm very glad I've got it as already I'm having shoulder pain from lugging my little boy around. If you are prone to any back or shoulder pain I'd say it's worth the investment.

Thanks heaps for that Trish - what a great website - I'm in Greensborough so it's not too far .. I was thinking of a stand with wheels?? Not sure if overly necessary though - also does it have a drain plug and or hose?? -also not sure if that's completely necessary either - just a couple of things that my research has brought up!!!! - Thanks again
