Chase that order up Loula. I ordered my BJCS about 2 weeks after it came in to the stores at Baby Bunting in April. I got mine last week while I was in hospital (great timing!!) and yep - I love it! It is a good looking, stylish functional pram! Unless you ordered red? I think red might be a bit slower than the black and white. I got the white!!

    Thomastown. Strange....

Actually now that I think about it, when we picked up the rest of our layby just before DD was born and we asked the warehouse manager (out the back!!) about the ETA of the pram (he is the one always in the know!) he asked if we ordered the black. Maybe the black is in such high demand that they are out of it. He did say that they got one shipment in but it wasn't enough to fill all the orders for some reason, which was why we didn't get ours. But if you ordered it in Feb I would expect that you would be first on the list of orders to fill.

    Hi all,

I'm going to order the select to but I just wanted to ask a question of those who bought (or are playing
    on buying) the bassinet.

1.) Are you going to use it during the summer (for those summer babies?) I'm wondering if the bassinet aren't
too hot for them and there wouldn't be much airflow.

2.) Are you planning on buying a second seat immediately or waiting until you need one?

    Thanks!!

i got the bassinet as you have to if youwant to use it from nb. it has a air flow mess on the back of the hood as well as i peep hole (not as big as the strider)

I am also not planning on buying the second seat yet as im hoping that when i need it it might be a little cheaper ! hehe ther is always hope!

Well I have a May baby so not quite in Summer, but the bassinet is actually quite roomy, especially for a nb, so as long as you dress the baby appropriately I don't see the airflow being any more of an issue than using any other form of transportation for bub.

I bought the second seat straight away, but I have two so needed it anyway. Baby brain is getting to me, but I know that there is a particular adapter part that comes with the second seat, (I think it has something to do with the bassinet...) so if you want that option then you need the second seat straight away. I think if you google it you can find other forums talking about it. Sorry, my poor brain isn't quite functioning as it should be!
