My girls were both in 0000's for a couple of months but they were on the smaller side, DD1 2.9kg and DD2 2.9kg at birth and 2.4kg at 2 weeks.
My DD was the same size and wore hers for a good couple of months too.

Depends where they are from. He is too chubby for the pumpkin patch NB size but can still fit into 0000 from Big W or Best & Less

Other than that they are getting a little tight.

My Moo was 9lb at birth, I think 53cm in length & never wore a size 0000.

By December he was in 00.

No harm in buying a few smaller sizes, if you keep the tags on you can always give them to someone else.

My DD was just shy off 7lbs and was in 0000 for about 3.5 months

My DD was 3.6kg born and 54cm long and fit into 0000 for about 2-3 weeks before she grew out of them. Both of my DS's never fit into them. DS1 was 4.2kg and 55cm, and ds2 was 3.8kg and 56cm. While they may have fit into them width wise, they were both waaayyyy too long to get anywhere near them. And DS2 is already now into 00. I also think DS1 was into 00 by this age too....
Maybe if you do buy some, get things without feet or seperates rather than full suits and even if bubs is a bit bigger than first thought, she will fit into them and you can just put socks on her.

Lucinda is 7 weeks & 1 day old and she is starting to wear 00. She wore 0000 for about a week or 2. She was 9lb 3oz & 53 cms born (if that helps)
    DS2 (7lb10oz) & DD2 (8lb13oz) wore 00000 when they were born and wore 0000 for over a month.

About a week. They were too big when we first put them on her and then they seemed to shrink very quickly! To be honest, I wouldn't really bother going and getting any just yet, you can always send someone out with a shopping list if you need them when bubs arrives.

I've only gotten a few for this bubs as I'm not sure of her size lol. But I have been op shopping for these as I know how fast babies grow out of them. Got some super cute outfits for about $1 each. If they don't fit then I'm not going to worry about the expense

Both of mine for just a week and that was a nearly 9 lb'er and a 10lber. They were 50 and 51 cms though so not very long for their hefty weight!

I can't believe how close you are to the end! As you know DD was/is pretty tiny (still wearing 0's at 2) so was in 4 0's for quite a while. I actually still have all of Imogen's stuff if you want to look through and borrow any of it.

DS1 was 7lb2oz, 48cm and wore 0000's for approximately 4 weeks if i remember correctly.
DS2 was 8lb2oz, 52cm and he only wore 0000's for about 2 weeks
DS3 was 9lb15oz, 59cm long so he never got into 0000's at all ....he was too big all round (weight/length).

Maybe buy a few items but leave the tags on that way if bubs does turn out to be a bit bigger then your expecting you can return them and get more in a size that fits. Goodluck not long now until your little one will be making her entrance

Ds was 8lb15oz and 53cm when born and he wore 0000 for a month. He's now 7weeks4days old and still fits in some 0000 sleeveless & legless suit but they are starting to get a little tight around his nappy.

My eldest was in 0000's for 5 days, my second son for 2 weeks. I would not buy any now, and if you have a smaller bub you can get someone to buy 3 or 4 growsuits to see you through until bub is older.

My smaller babies were only in them for a week or so, the bigger two never went in them at all.

I was going to suggest same as Kim & Traveller - don't buy any now, wait & see. Or, if you do buy them, leave the tags on. Don't do what I did - convinced I was having a smaller baby I took the tags off everything & pre-washed it - she was 10lb8 & had sooo many things that never got worn

Wooo Fleur go the big bubba... my DS was 10lb11 and we had tonnes of stuff that didn't get worn also!

I had an 8lb3 DD first and she was in 4x0 for maybe a month? But DS - well I crammed him into like three of the 4x0 growsuits but he looked so cramped... so we just started on the 3x0!

i think in my opinion every baby is different DS was 8.11lbs(3.940) 50cm long and DD was 8.6lbs(3.800) 50cm long and they both wore 0000 for a month and the only reason we went to 000 is we got bored with their clothes yet my bestfriends boys werent much bigger never fit into 0000 and if they did it was only for a week
and all babies grow at different rates
every brand is different also my kids always grew out of bonds much earlier then any other brand
