    Hi everyone!
I'm happy to announce that our Nursery is done! YAY!!!!!!

We went for a dark green feature wall in suedue effect paint, the other walls are cream, we've put up two beach colour floating shelves, my rocking chair and change table(Baltic colour) are assembled and our Basinette is in storage in the room till bub arrives. Hopefully my cot(Baltic colour) will be in in the next week or so, once it's up We'll be off sheet and mobile shopping thinking of going a wild animal theme as there's alot around at the moment.

Thanks for all the advice and help without it i'm sure we'd still be lost!

Best of luck to all those planning your nurserys!!!

Mellie, we didn't have much cash with the last two monkeys and I'm determined to do it this time, if I don't I'll never have a nursery, alot of my friends have been picking up some good bargains on ebay so'll be having a look later! We were renting when I had my son as we we're building at the time so he never got a nursery and his room is still a nightmare, gotta find a toy solution for him! Thanks for your imput!

We were renting when DD was born, we had just moved in when I was 8 months PG so thats when I set up the nursery, the room was off white with peach coloured curtains so it was really pretty.
We bought our house when she was 4 months old & still haven't got around to painting it We've recently bought the paint, she will have off white walls with a pink feature wall.

Our new babys room, boy oh boy, haven't started yet. We still have to build a wall deviding it into an office & bedroom, then put a window in each room as currently theres a sliding door. Then we will be getting off white carpet (very neutral). We also need to build a second wall for extra insulation to block out noise from running water in the room next door LOL. Once the walls are built we will be painting off white & a blue feature wall.
The cot is the same one we used for DD (it was the one DH used & his brothers before him, 47 yrs old!) It's white steel.
We'll be using DD's set of white drawers with character handles (mickey mouse etc) with a change mat on the top.
We have an off white bassinette (bedroom probably wont be finished by the time bubs arrives so he'll need to be portable LOL)
We have the fisher price papasan swing
Bedding is the kidsline "silver lining" which is a Noahs Ark theme so we have the bedding, floor mat, cot mobile, clothes hamper, wall hangings & a few other things I think LOL (something DD never had but I wanted to get so this time round I grabbed it when it was on special haha)
Haven't got a bath yet as we used a change table/baby bath for DD & I decided not to use that this time as takes up too much room in my opinion.
Car seat we have the capsule for first months then he'll prob get DD's safe n sound meridian which is fantastic I might add LOL because by that time DD will move over to her booster seat, saves us buying another car seat!

So I suppose my theme is Noahs Ark, thanks to the kidsline I chose. Furniture is white.

Good to hear you've got yours sorted, I wish I could say the same for us!!! (Just having the walls built & carpet put down I'd be so very happy with!!!)

LOL Thanks, yes it's a very big job & I'm the only one who seems to think 11 weeks isn't quite long enough to get it done in... DH keeps assuring me it will be done in time... yeah right!!

snoopea, YAY for finshing bubs room. A dark green suede feature wall sounds lovely. Have fun shopping for the mobile and sheets

DH started sanding bubs room yesterday....and we have about 18 days to go till his arrival! Sunday he will be painting, not sure how much will actually get done though? I think we will be painting the clouds on after we get home from the hospital and then we will also put up the sticker on the wall at the same time. Hopefully next weekend we will put the cot and change table together and stack if full of stuff
