It depends upon your children too. I thought we would just get by with a sling and single pram. But then my eldest son developed autism and it became impossible to leave the house so I got a P&T. Perhaps wait and see if you're unsure about a double pram? I love having one though!

We took the side of my son's cot about 2 months before came, so when he was 2.5. He was fine with that and he slept in it till baby was about 3 months old then we moved him to a big bed and baby started using the cot.
