    is this too big

    Dimensions: 510mm W x 845mm D x 800mm H
    google bassinet Kingparrot
I had this bassinet with DD (she has grown out of it sadly, she's a big girl now....) and I LOVE< LOVE<LOVE it! You can easily wheel it from room to room (which I did!) and it fit neatly next to the bed as its quite trim.

Anyway, I hope you find what you're looking for.

I really like the The First Years Carry-Me-Near 3 in 1 Sleep System (bassinet + stand). It's not as big as most and I got it from Toys'r'us for half price. It's not as big as most bassinets and it's not overly frilly. Also you can fold it up really small so if you travel anywhere no need to take anything else. It is on wheels.

Hope you find something suitable Lenny! I totally understand what you're saying, I too am not a fan of the frilly ones . We were lucky enough to be given one that has been in DH's family for years, it is a very old (plain) cane one on a stand with wheels. Was very handy for moving around during the day, and he slept in it in our room at night until 6 months (when he outgrew it ). I hope you can find something similar!

I've just realised that I was a bit silly when i said that the Mother's Choce one would be hard to move...I was thinking of if the baby was in it...but how often would i want to move it with him in it right??

I'll go and look up the other ones now.

DH has told me to calm down and stop looking so hard - I have months to go. I am trying too hard to be organised this time to make up for the fact that I was very disorganised last time.

Hey Lenny, there's a moses basket at BigW. It's only $99 and it's just plain white waffle fabric.

My mum bought me that Moses basket the other week it is really lovely, I can't wait to use it! LOL

Probably wouldn't last as long as a bassinette thought, depends what you're looking for.

Yeah Janie that's how I know about it. I bought one for Nate but I took it back as soon as we got home as he was already too long to be comfy in it lol.
