What Does Everyone Think About Baby Wipes??

well i dont really have a problem with baby wipes as everyone i know uses them and have never had an issue i bought unscented ones off the internet for really cheap to save money will have to see how they are for mine but i'll also be using disposable nappies 2

Well I can say that sposie wipes DO give my boy nappy rash, if used too often. We only use them occasionally as we use cloth nappies, and so it's easier (and cheaper) to also use cloth wipes. I just use a face washer with water. I don't think it's too rough at all, and they clean his bum so much better than sposie wipes. IMO some of the sposie wipes are pretty rough - I wouldn't put them near my bum!

Krystie, I have a little bag with a zip, and when going out I just pre-wet the cloths and pop them in the bag. Too easy! I have a friend who could not ever use sposie wipes cos her DS had such a bad reaction to them - she would take a packet of cotton pads out with her, and just wet them as she needed them. Whatever works for you I say. As for at home, I used to have a container of water on the change table, but then DS became mobile and found it lol. Now I have the wipes folded in a pile on the change table and a bottle of water (like a pop top drink bottle). I just wet the wipes as I need them. It really is just as easy!

I use Coles loves baby brand (in the purple packets). If they have run out then i go back to J&J as ive never had a problem with them and they are by far the nicest smelling wipes on the market.

I have heeeeeaps of cloth wipes here but i just havent used them, wet chuck aways seem so much easier to me and quicker!

Less washign for me to hang and fold then as well

Cloth wipes and water here too.

I use velour wipes, The ones from Itti Bitti are my favourite.

I always leave cloths dry until needed and I just quickly run under the tap. If I know I will be at a place with no tap easily available I will put a couple in a tupperware container or take a pop top water bottle. And do as Ali does, fold a wipe into each nappy in my bag and a couple of extra in her little bag that holds her spare clothes JIC.

There is no way that I will be using any chemical wipes on my precious babies bum.

I just chuck them in a bucket and in the wash with her nappies and clothes.
