My boys are 18 months apart and used my phil and ted dash if walking for a long time and if just going to shops I used mclaren vouge and close carrier or ergo.

DS1 was not walking until 21 months so was a long time till I didnt need use of phil and ted and or sling and stroller.

I only stopped using phil and ted when DS1 was 4 and 1/2 as he was way to tall for seat

My eldest was 2 years and 4 months when his little brother was born and 19 months later we're still using our double! Our boys are now almost 4 years old and 19 months, we have a City Select. You can use it as a single pram too so quite often DS1 will walk or sit on the front bar if you can imagine what I mean, but there are some days where he doesn't want to walk so we pop the 2nd seat on, great for big days out at the zoo or something as well.

I wouldn't be without our double!

I had 4 in 4 years (and 2 months) so all mine were quite close, but I only got my first double pram last year because it was easier for school drop off/pick up.

At the start of last year I had a 3 year old, 2 year old and 10 month old, so the two oldest went in the pram, and the baby went in a carrier on my back.

Having said that, I used it for last year, and now don't use it unless we are going walking and its a fair distance and I don't think the girls will walk it all. All the kids walk for school drop off/pick ups.
