OKP's positive, but not as dark as the Control Line

Hi wondering if some has been using the confirm tests.

This morning I noticed more CM - (had been dry until today), and thought I will give one a shot to see, and got a positive but it is not as dark as the control line?

Do I wait until the tet line is darker than the Control, DH wants to try for a Boy first, so want to BD, on and after O. And we thought we would give this a shot for a couple of months and if no luck just give it a shot all the time!!!!

I am thinking that it means my levels are on there way up, and I will probably O in the next couple of days, but not certain.

Any help would be great, just thought I would give the OPK a shot this month to see if I am interpreting the signs correctly!

Hi Victoria

For an opk to be positive, the test line needs to be as dark or darker than the control. Once you see this you will probably O within 24-36 hours.

Personally, i find that my opk's get progresivly darker as i approach O, then afterwards it's sooooo faint.
If your cycle is usually 28days and you are on cd12 then you are right in thinking that you will possibly O in the next couple of days.

Okp's can be a PITA sometimes, you need to do them everyday (i sometimes do twice a day) to ensure you dont miss the surge.
