Michelle. I wish I could change things for you hun
The Clomid "stall" is only because I was a bad girl and didn't get to a chemist to get it filled in time Do you think its wise to take asprin before being UTD??? You've got me thinking now lol..Maybe I should just start that too especially if it won't do any harm
Mako - I am not sure anything I suggest / would do is wise I would take it but you need to be comfortable as to whether it would benefit your specific clotting conditions and are you happy to *wing it*.
A cool, cloudy day. Perfect Greg weather. And Orange is freezing so he would be happy.
I'm still around... reading... but just feel like I have nothing left to offer to anyone. It appears very much that I am in the process of losing my job.
I feel like I have failed at everything I have tried - I'm not well enough to stay home with Sam, and can't even keep a job to support my family. Life just sucks.
No idea what we'll do when the inevitable happens. DH's job isn't really enough to support us, even though he can go back to working full time without hassles.
Michelle - Nice to see you pop in my sweets. How are the kidlets? How are you managing atm? Thinking of you and sending you love and hugs xx
Willow - hope today went ok and you found comfort in your family and in sweet memories of your nan
BW - that sux hun, can you get teaching work elsewhere?? How is Sam doing?
We are all good here, baby Nat is doing well, she is a bit of a sooky though but still managing to get 6hrs sleep a night so im coping well with the sooky episodes during the day.
Im off to make dinner, hope to bbl after brothers and sisters,
BW - big hugs hun, sounds like life is giving you a rough time right now. I hope you get a break soon. As Lisa asked, can you get teaching work elsewhere?
Willow - I am so so sorry to hear about your Nan. I hope the funeral went as well as possible. How is DD coping?
Mako - I am glad to hear that you are on metformin and will start clomid soon. I hope you have some success, and quickly!!
Bek - happy birthday for the other day hun. How is Eva's sleep going now? Looks like I may be joining you in the land of no sleep - DS is turning into a bad sleeper like DD, argh!!!
Michelle - thinking of you as always hun. How are the kids going? Do you have anyone staying with you now?
jayne - I would love to meet with you girls when you are in Melb. I will see what is happening closer to the time and try to arrange a trip with DH. Would be great to see you again!
Melb girls - i am not sure if this will be possible, but thought I would just try and see if we could organise a catch up. I will be in Melb late next week for a few days. Usually when we go to Melb we are pretty busy and I am with DH (and as lovely as you girls are, I think he would be terrified of the prospect of catching up with a bunch of mums and kids he doesn't know!!). Anyway, he has a test flight booked that he got for Christmas so will be at Moorabbin (?) airport for a couple of hours next Fri. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a catch up? The problem is that I am not very comfortable driving in Melb (yes, I am a wuss, but trams scare me, not to mention the whole turning right from the left lane thing!!). Do any of you live anywhere close to Moorabbin or else is there anywhere good to meet around there that you can get to? If not, no worries, I just thought I would throw it out there as I would love to meet some of you lovely ladies sometime
I think the reality of the situation is that the school is right. I'm not performing as I should be. It comes down to the way the arthritis is effecting me in terms of pain and fatigue, and the side effects of the meds I'm on for it leaving me in a state of mental fog. Then there's the depression and anxiety issues that have arisen again. Fact is, I'm really not capable of working full time and I feel that it's running me into the ground so badly that I just can't do it any more. We're pursuing some options regarding disability benefits for me... But even if DH goes back to work full time and I stay at home... it will be HARD but we can probably manage. Would be good if he can continue to do some days working from home to help out, but not sure what that would do to his income. It will take some time to sort out what's going to happen... If I was well enough, teaching elsewhere would be a great option. I just don't think I'm up to it right now.
Hi Ladies,
Just wanted to pop in & say I have just caught up on the reading, we have Alan home atm, so things are crazy busy, but cool.
Had a wonderful catch up with Kelly today. Her belly is soooooooo adorably cute! Looking fab as well might I add.
Am really looking forward to meeting the Mel girls in September/October.
Chat soon!
Love Jayne x
Just had to add a cracker! Alan has just seen the abbreviation 'DH' & his name right next to it & assumed that on BellyBelly the husbands are referred to as d&ckheads. Love it! Classic!
Jayne Sage is heaps better now thanks for asking about him He's back to his usual happy self although he has picked up a very very annoying habit of screaching at me all the time
Sounds like Jess is doing really well with her swimming. You must be so proud of her
How is Claudia doing? I love the conversations that your girls have too lol. Makes me so clucky hearing all these conversations these kids are having with their siblings
Kelly I'm glad you had a great time in Perth catching up with your family and friends.
Janie How are you doing hun? How is D coming along? What's N up to these days?
Michelle I'm thinking of you. When is your next appointment with your Midwife/Ob?
Deb Thinking of you too. Have you had any news from your DD1? How is Immy doing?
I had a good talk to my boss yesterday afternoon(she's in the process of hiring another teacher and I had to assess someone yesterday afternoon) anyway she asked me what was happening and how I was doing and everything just kinda blurted out about the latest 2 m/c's and stuff Anyway she was very sincere about everything I told her and she did tell me that she and her DH are thinking about ttc again in October so atleast I have been "warned" that she may have another baby sometime soon. I'm pleased she told me that and she hasn't told any of the other girls so I can kinda prepare myself for when the time comes that she does become pregnant if that makes sense.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.
My DH is away this weekend but he'll be back tomorrow sometime hopefully before our visitors arrive. They only asked if they could come and stay yesterday when DH called them to see if a parcel had arrived and they asked if they could stay tomorrow night as they have an appointment in town early Monday morning. So needless to say I've spent today trying to get this house cleaned up as best as I can without a vacuum cleaner as my Dyson has something wrong with it and thats not good when we have a 2 year old who drops stuff on the floor and a dog who loves being inside lol.
Sorry have been mia, reading but not posting much atm, and to be honest am finding the new forums so SLOW to move around in! Am feeling a bit better, the AD's have kicked in and I'm not so drowsy, I think they are helping and I'm a bit more chilled out. Getting ready to head to Adelaide for a holiday this Wednesday to stay with a DH1's family - I have not been there for 5 years, and I know it's going to be emotional, but I feel I need to "face it", am taking the whole family too, so all 6 of us will be there! May not get online much, but will report back in when I get back.
Am thinking of each and every one of you, especially Michelle.
LEE _ The trip to Adelaide sounds like it's going to be very helpful for you, especially given your recent appt's with your Dr & your diagnosis & the AD's. I'm on Team Amanda for a successful trip! Good luck & wonderful news that the whole crew is going to be joining you.
MAKO _ Sounds like the 'talk' with your boss was a good thing honey. Now she knows where you are coming from & what you have been through, plus she had an opportunity to let you know where she is headed as well. Glad your little man is well again - there is nothing worse! Can we talk you into a trip to Melbourne in Sep???
Just a quick one from me, I'm just about to prepare dinner. I really have to get back onto my WW Wagon as I not only fell off the damn thing, but I think it ran me over while I was down because I just can't seem to pick myself back up again!!! hahaha Alan left last night, so that helps with things as there will be no restaurant dinners or lunches happening & now that Jess has swim club 2 nights per week but that I'm not allowed to stay & watch, I have time to come home & prepare dinner rather than getting take-out on the way home, which was our Monday night thing. So I need to get back to eating healthily again & fast!!! We had a birthday party at Ice Skating this afternoon. OMG Jessica is unreal on ice skates! She needed no assistance whatsoever. As for Claudia, well she wasn't a fan of her 'skeeters' but she did manage 2 laps of the rink. My toes are still thawing out now!
Just a quick one from me this time but I have to share....I'm so proud of Sage this afternoon without me or DH sitting in his doorway This is the 1st time he's ever done this so I'm stoked!!!
We have travelled such a long and tough road to get to this point and we finally did it today. I'm not expecting him to do it again tonight but we shall see
Kelly Woohoo on Luke wearing undies to bed last night and staying dry too I bet you are so proud too
Sorry for no more personals but I need to get dinner organised.
