Hi Ladies,
Just letting you know I'm back online, I'm drained, I'm ill & I'm not eating but I'm just spending stacks of time with the girls. Jessica has been off school with gastro, so it's just one thing after another.
Love Jayne
Oh Jayney, if it doesn't rain it pours  I'm so sorry you're so ill, hang in there darl xoxo (Can you try to manage to eat something, for me? Even some chocolate??? ;))
Big hugs to everyone with sick little kiddies. Not nice at all.
Jayne - Glad you're back online and hope you're doing ok. Please, please, please try to eat something... anything... you need to stay strong... the last thing you need right now is to be run down and get sick. Hope Jess is ok.
Mako - Good luck with the Clomid.. I'm praying is the 'magic' formula for you. You absolutely deserve some good news very soon. Thinking of you all the time.
Janie - What a day hey?? Hope you have a better night tonight.. poor little D. Would of been great to see you today but looking forward to catching up next week. Luke had a big cry this afternoon because he didn't get to play with N today.. it was sooooo cute.. he kept saying "but I really want to play with N" then a bit later when he'd calmed down.. he came over to me and said "N couldn't come over today because his baby brother is sick"... precious!!
Bun - Hoping we can catch up next week!!
Hope everyone else is well... gotta go.. just heated up some Apple and Custard pies... with ice cream of course.. so must eat before the ice cream melts... yum. But very quickly... I thought we needed some good news in here so I'm very happy to say that I'm feeling kicks!!!!!! It's so exciting and it's all just hit me that I'm actually pg.. this IS happening and I couldn't be happier. Makes all of Luke's tantrums and bad behaviour today totally go away. I'm in heaven and I just love it. I'm actually feeling like I can start to bond with this little bundle that I'm growing and can finally accept that it's happening!!!!! Just the most wonderful feeling in the world.
Love to you all.

I ate some pretzels last night girls - so stop stressing! LOL
I'm trying to summon up the courage to cook my usual Saturday Morning Bacon & Eggs but can't muster up the motivation.

Hi beautifuls........... how is everyone going?
Jayne - I read your other thread, so sorry babe at what you are faced with and dealing with...... you sound like you have your head completely screwed on, look after yourself sweety xoxo
Michelle - how are you doing hon, hope you didn't succumb to illness, and you are 'hanging' in there - you are still very much on my mind hon, keep posting how you are feeling hon xoxo
Kelly - a big hooray on your bub kicking, it's the best feeling those first kicks!!
Mako - hugs babe, what's happening with you?
Spring - no more dramas for you please, thats an order! love your fb pics!
Hi Bun, Janie, Lisa, Laney, Willow, Bek, and Deb - hugs and love you to !!
Moi - urgh........... just got back from Burnie, DH and I had to see a head quack re. Luc's case, basically have to prove we are totally crazy to seek compensation for the comedy of ****-ups....... actually wasn't hard to prove I'm crazy, but after over 2 hours of talking I was completely drained. Came home the slow way today, which was nice, Tassie is so beautiful it's good for the soul......
Not much else to report - just going from day to day right now - and contemplating starting at Weight Watchers on Thursday, but worried about the kgs of chocolate I got today and have stashed, I'm SO bad!!!
Hugs all round,
Lee xo
Lee - glad you had a lovely trip through Tassie, even though it sounds like you have had a rough time. It seems ridiculous that you have to go through so much to get compensation for having already been through so much! It must be difficult to have to keep bringing it up all the time. I hope the case gets finalised soon hun. And yes, Tassie is a beautiful place. I have been to Burnie (have family there) and I loved it. Definitely plan to get back there one day.
Michelle - how are you feeling today hun? I hope you can get some help with the kids if you are feeling sick. I hope you got some sleep last night
kelly - yay on those kicks!! I love the early kicks (before they become huge karate kicks on your bladder!)
Jayne - did you manage your Sat morning brekkie? I think you are handling this so well, I am really impressed. How much longer til Alan is home?
Janie - does your Dr have any other tests in mind to look at possible causes? Sometimes it can be nice to have answers hey.
Lisa - is there any chance we may be able to meet up on Fri? I will be in Melb and hopefully meeting with Janie and Kelly. I think we will be staying in the city this time, so (I am assuming?) maybe closer to you?
mako - good luck with the clomid hun, it is about time some good things came your way I think!
Spring - how is DH going?
Hi to everyone else, hope you are all having a good weekend :)
BUN _ Alan his home on 23 June. Only 10 more days to go. Today I'm back in denial stage. I flutter between, anger, despair, heartbroken-ness & denial. Today is denial. I didn't manage breakfast, nor have I today, but I did get summoned to my besties place last night where her mum had cooked me my favourite chicken fricassee (sp?), dish. I managed to eat a little bit, plus some dip & crackers that I had made. So I have eaten something. I haven't managed anything today, but I have lunch at a school friends place, so I'm sure I'll be fine today. How is Joshua now? Has he settled down? How is the dummy wars?
LEE _ I'm loving how 'calm' you are seeming these days. It sounds to me as though you have faced many demons and you are on your road to recovery - do you feel like that as well?
Big hello's & happy sunday vibes to everybody.
Jayne x
Jayne, are you okay? I just saw your fb status.
I saw it too
HI Ladies,
I'm just shocked is all. A beautiful baby girl was born prem at 33 weeks, she was throwing bile after Mel had tried to feed her. The midwife thought she had a minor blockage in her intestine & booked her for a small op to clear it. Found out that the intestine was not even attached to the stomach & that she had 2 holes in her heart. She never recovered from the intestinal surgery & they tried to operate on her heart, but in the end, it wasn't to be. Now questions are raised as to why none of this was picked up on her scans.
Whilst I don't know Mel as well as I know her 2 sisters, I still know her & love to have a good chat when we bump into each other. (I work with both her sisters) & it's just an enormous tragedy.
Love Jayne
Jayne that is really really awful and sad :( I feel so much for that poor family. I'm sure you'll be a wonderful support to her sisters
How terrible. That is all very similar to what happened to my beautiful friend Mel's baby boy Joshua. Such a tradgedy
My BIL / SIL had a transoesophageal fistula with their son but without the heart complications. I am so sorry Jayne that your friends are going through this
As for me - blah!!!
Vented elsewhere because while I know you all love me I don't want to dump in here and have you feel like it is directed at any of you, because it isn't :grouphug:
Jayney - I'm so very sorry to hear about your friends tiny angel :(
Michelle - :comfort:
Oh Michelle, it really really sucks that you got sick too :( I wish so so so so so much that I was close by to at least drop off a meal or something
Janie - I currently have a freezer full of food that has been gifted to us and I was very grateful today when I could just put something in the oven to heat for the little ones. It is something I hope will continue after Omar is here but in the short term I like cooking too and a slow cooker meal with mash or homemade soup is comfort food at the moment. As for me, no appetite tonight and nothing tastes any good either so I am a little ho hum about food. I would love your company any time though
More  Michelle.
Jayne I'm so sorry to hear about your friend's baby girl..So so sad
Us Sydney girls will make sure it does Michelle! I'm sure lots of your other friends will do the same.:
It is something I hope will continue after Omar is here
Well i definitely wish i was there to spend time with you, that would be fantastic. I'm guessing the need for adult company is bigger than anything sometimes.
I know you will Willow
Janie - adult conversation is critical. There is only so much toddler talk you can do!!!
Michelle - Be careful what you wish for, I might just be swinging past your place with a suitcase in the next week or so! *Wink* How are you feeing today? How are the 'monsters'???
I have a sore throat, sore ears & overall feeling like crap. Mum called me at work today saying Claudia is gagging on her food, has a temp & is coughing like she is a smoker from way back when. & Jess is still complaining of stomach cramps after having gastro. Can it get any more fun in my place??
Just a quick question to Willow - What does little Miss V weigh? Jessica is looking like a skeleton these days. I know she is naturally thin & very tall, but I can count her ribs & when she bend over her spine sticks out like a dinosaur skeleton. Lol. I weighed her in a tracksuit & she was only 20.1kg. She is 5y7m. She just looks very gaunt these days. I'm worrying.
Jayne that sounds around about fine... My Eva is about 22kgs... at 6 years.
I have my Lucy with yet another bout of tonsillitis I think... :wall:
I have Divvy & her boys coming tomorrow afternoon for a 2 night stay! I am so excited! She's been such a good friend and support to me - I'm looking forward to having her with us.
Michelle I hope your day was okay after such a sleepless night. :comfort:
Jayne - go with your feelings right now, feel them, name them and let them go. Your feelings will change each moment.
Inanna, I am so excited for you!!!! Divvy is hysterical  Have you met her IRL before? Hope you guys have a blast :D I'm missing chatting to you too lovely, I think of you ALL THE TIME. I will be eternally grateful for all your support and advice this year
Jayne, I'm sorry things are sucking so badly right now, hope you're all on the mend soon.
Michelle, I so badly want to come and visit you. I keep trying to think of ways to do it. Planning on trying to get up there with D-man at some stage, though it probably won't be too soon :(
Janie - I was looking at ways to do a day trip to Melbourne when Miss Jayne was to be visiting ;) It may still be an option.
Jayne - you can land on my doorstep anytime
Hi Ladies, I just wanted to pop in and let you know that my scan today went well. Bub was measuring a few days ahead. I have to go in for another ultrasound in 2 weeks. I am feeling slightly relieved but there is still a long way to go. We are now past the point where Parker and Shelby started to show signs of IUGR.
Janie, sorry that you didn't get an answer after all of your tests. It is a good thing that they didn't find anything but I know how frustrating it is to not have that answer.
mako, sorry that af showed up. How are you feeling?
Michelle, I think of you everyday.
Jayne, so sorry to read about your friends baby girl.
Hi to everyone else. I think Grayson is up to something in the other room.
MICHELLE _ YOU have just made my ENTIRE century by looking at coming to Melbs when we will be there. Dependent on how my situation turns out, my mother might be coming in Alan's place. LOL. Thankfully for me, the entire trip is already paid for. We are staying at Mantra on the Park if you wanted to stay close - just so I can come & sneak cuddles with George at any time I want. heheeh
Well, it could be a very real possibility that I snap up a cheapie flight for a few days next week - will just have to see how 'things' go.
Claudia is unwell today. Temp of 39.2 all night. Thankfully she now tells me she likes Panadol as I was fresh out of Nurofen. She is coughing & coughing & coughing this delightful crackly cough that sounds as though she will vomit with it soon. I have just given her some Benadryl & I have the heater on & she is still in her pj's, so hopefully a jimmy-jammy day does the trick. I think she is brewing tonsilitis again as she is having a hard time swallowing, even yoghurt. Will just keep an eye.
Thanks Deb, I feel a bit better about Jess now. She just looks overly thin, or maybe it's just cos I'm overly fat!!! I haven't seen my ribs in freaking years. Oooh it sounds as though you have a wonderful 2 nights ahead of you! You're going to have a great time, I can see you hooting with laughter & having a smashing time already!! Lock up the wine glasses. hehehe You haven't mentioned Immy in a while, how is she doing? No word from Ruby?
LANEY _ Congrats on such a great scan love, I'm sure it's a load off your mind. hehhe, what antics was Grayson up to???
Well I best be off & tidy up the house a bit, after us all being a big blergh for the last couple of days, sadly now the house is a bit blergh as well.
Love Jayne x
Hi lovelies,
Quickie - Michelle and Jayne - lack of brain function with me, but when will you both potentially be in Melbourne - as I'm contemplating a little trip over the water myself!!! Would love to meet you Melbourne girls xoxo
Lee x
OMG... how exciting!!! It would be sooooo wonderful for a few more of you to head to Melbourne when Jayne is here... Woop Woop!!! You've all made my day.. I hope it all happens!!!
Sorry, no time for personals, my computer battery is running low and it's going to cut out any minute!! We've just had a nice chat to my Mum on Skype.. god I love technology these days... makes it so much easier me being over here.
All going well with us... just tired but otherwise all wonderful!!! Having a few money issues atm.. and have a very big OB bill coming up... so a little stressful. Think we have to find a cheaper house to rent, which means moving house JUST before the baby comes. Not ideal but I don't think we have a choice. I soooo over worrying about it all.
Kel xxxx
LEE _ I'm in Melbourne from 28 Sept til 5 Oct. We are going to Mary Poppins on 3 Oct so that day is out, but OMG I am having heart palpitations at the very thought of you coming as well!!!
KEL _ Sorry bout the financial drama's, I hear exactly where you're coming from. Do you think you could shift some payments around to help out? Just a thought? Can't think of anything worse than packing up a house when a baby is on the way.
Off to walk Banjo with Claudia int he pram, has been pouring all night & the sky is a lovely shade of grey, but the poor boy is desperate for a walk.
Love Jayne x
Jayney - My Miss V is probably not a very good measure. She is a very slim little girl, always has been. I weighed her about 2 months ago and she was only about 18.5/19kg. I can see her entire ribcage, spine etc too. If Miss J is happy, eating well and active, I wouldn't stress about it. I was a little worried at the time because my GP was prescribing her Ab's and said to me 'so she'd weigh about 25kg?' :o Erm, no. But like I said, she has always been on the more petite side so I don't worry much about it. Hoping this means she won't take after either of her parents! LOL.
BBL...
Jayne - I wish we didn't have to move but we really can't keep up this rent.. atm we're getting rent assistance from DH's work as part of the relocation but when that runs out... it's just going to be too hard. We were hoping that we'd be able to manage but with another bub on the way and me not working... it's not going to happen. I just wish we could get out of our lease here and move NOW but that's not going to happen either... so we'll just have to deal with it. Oh and I booked a flight back to Perth on September 12 too... so maybe a chance for another catch up before your trip over here!!! Will keep you posted!!!
Kel xxx
Hi sorry I haven't been in for a few days. 1 crazy lady lives here lol. I've started taking Clomid and I'd forgotten about some of the side effects it can cause :( Oh well hopefully things settle down soon. DH and I are going away tomorrow for the weekend and leaving Sage with his Grandparents. I know he'll be fine and will have a wonderful time but I feel guilty for not taking him with us. Even DH said last night he feels bad for not taking him but with what we are doing its really not a toddler friendly weekened. Oh well next time we go somewhere we'll be taking him for sure.
Oh and we're not camping lol. We are staying in a motel for a change lol. Its going to be nice to do the drive without towing a camper trailer or boat hahaha.
Kelly I'm sorry to hear things are a little tight on the money front atm. We know all to well how tough things can be when there isn't enough money coming in or way too much going out. We struggle with that most of the time but we do get there eventually. I hope you can find a new place to move too sooner rather than later too
Good to hear that you can feel bub moving now too. How are you going with names?
Jayne I think of you often hun. I wish I could change things for you right now  How is Curly? I hope she's feeling a bit better now. How is Jess doing? Is she still swimming?
Michelle How are you doing hun. I hope you are all over that yucky illness that swept through your place
Laney WOOHOO on a great scan. I'm so happy for you. Oh and a very Happy Belated 1st Birthday to Grayson for earlier this month. I hope he had a wonderful day :)
Ok I should get off here and start packing.
Hi to Deb,Willow,Lisa,Janie,Bun,Spring and Lee. I hope everyone is ok.
Just had to WOOHOO!!!! that DS1 got into the kinder that is my first preference for next year! And I just found out that one of his best little friends (ie. his mum is one of my besties LOL) got in too YAY!!!!!! We were on the waiting list, so I'm happy and relieved to know that we have a place :D
And woohoo that Kelly and I are meeting Bun tomorrow  I'm excited! Lisa??????? You must be busy ATM hun!
Mako - Have a great weekend away... and don't feel bad for leaving Sage... enjoy it!!!! I'd love a weekend away from Luke right now.. he's exhausting me!!!! LOL... I'm sure I'd miss him terribly though!! Hope things settle down with the Clomid too and I'm praying that it works!!!!
Janie - Woo Hoo... that's BRILLIANT news hun.. I'm sure I'll be waiting a while to see if Luke gets in anywhere as we are WAY down the end of the waiting list.. so not expecting much... it's soooo frustrating seen as he could of been in 3 year old kindy this year in Perth.. oh well... gotta get over that!!! I'm very jealous that you've got N in with a friend too... we would of had that back in Perth but not over here!!! At least I've still got Luke in daycare and I'm starting to think that the kindy program there would be better for us anyway, as he'll be there for the whole day.. not just a couple of hours, so gives me some good time with the new baby!! We'll just wait and see what happens.
Bun / Janie - I can't wait for our catch up tomorrow!!!! Super exciting.. and Lisa, hope you can somehow make it too!!!
Jayne - How are you holding up hun? Hope all is ok... thinking of you.
Michelle - Thinking of you always too hun and I'm hoping you can somehow make the trip to Melbourne when Jayne is here.. would be great to see you again and give you a nice big hug irl.
Hope everyone else is doing ok. Sorry for the poor effort at personals.
AFU - All going pretty good here still... I'm incredibly tired and not sleeping very well but again, it's a small price to pay for the miracle thats happening inside me. I felt so terrible earlier though, poor Luke was in tears because he wanted me to play with him, but I was so damn tired I physically couldn't get myself off the couch. Ended up both of us in tears. Not fun but I'm feeling a bit more alive again now, so have had a good play to make up for it. I'm getting some bad pain down really, really low too.. making it hard to walk at times.. a bit scary seen as I'm not even half way yet but hopefully it settles down. I see the OB on Wednesday, so very much looking forward to that. It's hard not having family around to help out but thankfully my MIL is arriving on Sunday, so that will be nice!!! DH left for Newcastle this morning too but he's only gone tonight and will be home late tomorrow, so I'm pretty happy that he got it down to one night. Other than that, we're just trying to keep warm.. it's so damn cold over here!!!!!
OOOhhhhhh... and i have some Woo Hoo news too... Luke's COMPLETELY out of nappies now.. night time and all!!! I'm so shocked that the nights are dry already, we didn't even try to get that happening but when he was dry every single night, we decided it wasn't worth spending the money on more pull ups... so he's in undies!!! We haven't had a sinlge accident for such a long time now... so I'm happy to say we actally made it!!! LOL. It's so wonderful and he even insists on standing up to do wee now.. it's adorable.. he just goes on his own and I love walking past and seeing his little naked bum.. and he has to stand on tip toes to get his willy over the edge of the toilet.. it's so cute. He's got good aim too.. doesn't really miss!!! I'm very proud!!!
Anyway must go.. have had a lazy afternoon.
Kel xxx
HI Ladies,
Have been offline for a few days. Retreated back to my 'hermit' phase for a while. I'm like a carousel horse, one minute I'm up, the next I'm halfway & the next minute I'm on the floor.
Claudia has gotten much better, still coughing like she has been smoking all her life at times, but definitely slowing down. Jess has picked up her appetitie - thank the lord. I had Banjo sterilised yesterday, **** is all I can say. The vet told me he would have made a champion stud-dog with the 'man bags' he had. He has had to cut him further than normal to get them out & therefore is incredibly swollen & more stitches than usual. He is in that much pain that he keeps collapsing when he tries to walk. It's really pitiful. Plus he hasn't weed since I got him home which I'm worried about. I might zip him back to the vet for some pain relief & a check up - it's honestly that bad. I have to carry him sometimes because he slides to where he wants to be & then can't move back to his bed.
I have been to my 'appointment' - which basically gave me the information I thought I would get - re: entitlements. Just a lot to process......
Well I'm so sorry for such a selfish post - I am thinking of you all.
Love Jayne x
Thinking of you too Jayne. I'm glad you had your meeting. I'm thinking there is a certain someone who might benefit from a visit to Banjo's practitioner... :comfort: :comfort:
I thought the same Deb  Glad your appt is over and done with Jayney
Oh yes, that's going to be a 'condition' of my current situation........... heheheeh.
