Janie, Daniel is a champion with his weight gains! You guys deserve big pats on the back. I truly believe in positive thinking and so I will cheer him on to be home by easter weekend!
Now Im not here if anyone asks, Im supposed to be studying today as its a study day from Uni for my assignments and the kids are at daycare so no excuses from me....................
I'm so glad you are feeling a bit more chipper today Janie... :hug: I so wish I could speed this time up for you. I remember always being optimistic as well. When we were in the NICU Immy was in Room1 for longer than any of the other babies at that time. Even one that was born at 590grams. It was so hard when everyone moved forward & my little princess stayed put. As you probably know she was born in October & I had in my head that she would be home for Christmas & of course that didn't happen - then it was home for the new year & that too passed - it was so so so so intolerably hard.
But she's home now & it's like she's always been here - that's how it will be for you and Daniel darling heart. Soon this will just be a challenging memory & you will even find things to smile about with regard to this time too.
He's doing so well - even having a real bath!!!! I remember feeling like I was walking on clouds the very first immersion bath Immy had... I felt like I could take on the world that day. Remember he is making such great progress darling he really is. Immy was 3 months old before she could have a bath - your little boy has managed it so much sooner. Try not to look forward - just do today that wy it's manageable.
I feel so deeply for what you are going through - I have shed many happy & frustrated tears for you & your baby & I wish I had a wand to take away this difficult time.

Sorry just a quickie from me; had ob appt today, all good with bub - in position, now its a matter of labour starting. OB has booked my c/s for after 40 weeks just in case, as the hossy is pretty much booked out for the next 3 weeks so they gave me the only free elective c/s spot.
Off to have accupuncture etc early next week in the hope of inducing labour before c/s date!!!
Can you get the acupuncture happening now??? Alternatively, go for a reflexology massage of the feet. A really good pedicure from someone who knows the stimulation points is also an option (and you get your toes / feet done too ;))
Thanks Michelle - Ive just booked for a foot massage with the master asian reflexology man at my local shopping centre for Monday while Miss A is at child care!
My accupuncture is booked for Tuesday next week, and im having an intense "inducing" session with my healer on Tuesday - she is making me go walking up a hill backwards among other things. Ive also upped the dose of EPO and now im having lots of discharge but dont know if its from the EPO!! Im doing deep breathing from the pelvic floor which is meant to rock the pelvis and induce labour, so i think i have a good shot of going into labour before C-Day!!!
Period type pain is constant and BH's are definately more noticeable.
Hope everyone else is well - off to clear out the laundry! Dh has just done the backyard, me thinks he is nesting more than I am :D
Lisa maybe it is time to start DTD too!!! Have you got a PIG? All that pelvic movement is excellent. Do you have a fit ball? It is a good idea to get on one of these and just roll your hips. I find visualization of bub moving down and my cervix thinning and opening good too.

I gotta say though...to me the thought of anyone expecting a baby to arrive at 38 weeks is nuts! :lol: DD was 10 days late, DS1 11 days and DS2...well I will never know for sure but I suspect he was about 2 weeks late.
Ahhhhhh, Willow, I remember with little D how desparate you were becoming to get him out!!!! So tough the waiting game at the end! To me the thought of someone having a tiny baby is odd - I squeezed out a near 9 pounder 4 weeks early :o thank god little man Flynn didn't go overdue!!

Sorry no time for more personals.. DS wants an apple and won't give up until he gets it!! LOL. The TT'ing is still going ok.. every time I think we should give up for a while, he surprises me with a whole day of telling me that he needs to go!!! WTF?? So crazy. I'm not as worried about it anymore and am just letting him dictate it a bit more. So far so good though, appart from a little wee in KMart.... oopss.. he was very good about it though and thankfully I had Mum to help!!! Definitely won't be braving undies at the shops again!! LOL. Oh the joys hey!!
Having a great time with Mum here... we're off to the zoo today (yep... the good old zoo again, I just love it there)!! Then tomorrow we're heading off to the Puffing Billy railway.. they have a Thomas the Tank Engine day on, so that should be fun!!
Expecting AF to arrive next week too.. we'll see how long I can hold off testing for!! Don't like my chances but I'm trying to remain a little hopeful!

Sorry it is so long since I have posted. I have been reading but just finding it very hard to get the time to post and I usually have a little bub in my arms which makes it difficult to type! We are doing really well, Josh even slept til 5.30am the other day! DD has been sleeping through the night too, so I am a very happy mummy! We have been pretty busy lately with lots on - the Playschool concert last week and lots of catch ups etc. Josh had his needles yest and screamed the place down. He sucked his breath in for so long that he went bright bright red and just when I was worried that he had stopped breathing he let out the biggest scream I have ever heard! he got over it pretty quick though, poor little guy. I have to say, as hard as it is at times, I am loving being a mummy at the moment. I love watching my little angels grow and learn and they bring me so much joy. Of course this could all change in a second if DD decides to throw another of her monster tanties!!
mako - are you ok love? Was your appointment with Dr S yest or is it next Thurs?
janie - I saw on fb that Daniel has to have an op. Hope all is ok hun :hug:
jayne - I know it was a while back but I have to say I had a big laugh at your description of your ovaries as being icey cold and under lock and key!! Love the pics of your little girl's first haircut, cute!!

Thanks for all your tips ladies - I just really hope labour starts in the next 7 days. OB was happy not to book a date for c/s til 41+weeks but problem with the hospital is if I didnt take the last available booking for the week after next it would have meant Id be going into 43wk territory. All this because they wont induce me!! Well then its a job for me, have to entice this little bugger out..one way or another!!

I'm going to break some news but want you all to know that I'm wanting to be very sensitive to Kelly and anyone else who may also be so desperate to be pregnant again.
I'm pregnant and need lots of support right now. I had my appt with Dr S on Thursday and he did a scan which showed bub was measuring a few days earlier than I expected but hopefully that is because my cycle is a tad irregular but bubs heart beat was stopping and starting. He said everything else looked ok but wants another scan in 10 days time so I've organised that but he then went on to tell me all the details I really didn't want to ever hear again about what he wants me to do incase of another m/c ie D&C, genetic testing,more blood tests including the NK Cells as my result from the 1st one wouldn't be accurate as I was already pregnant at the time. So at this stage I'm 6w3d and on a huge concoction of medicating including tablets and pessaries and trying to rest as much as I possibly can to give this little bub the best chance ever. I had beta hcg's done every 2nd day for both Dr S and my Ob and the levels rose as they should have but didn't have any b/t's for about a week and a half so I went and had another 1 yesterday to see what's happening with that. I'm trying my best to stay positive but have to admit I'm feeling fragile too so I've decided to join Michelle in the land of De Nile ;)
So for anyone who knows me and DH IRL PLEASE keep this all to YOURSELF and please don't post anything on FB or talk to anyone else about it for that matter :shhh: DH and I would like our privacy respected during this time but at the same time I need the support of my wonderful friends in here ;) I'm sorry if that sounds harsh but I'm sure most of you can understand where I'm coming from with this.

AFM - started having some mild contractions at about 2pm - they are irregular so i cant really tell WTF is going on, but im hoping that it will lead to the real thing in a few days. Miss A has been in her bed for over an hour and refuses to sleep, she is singing to herself now :wall: cute but not so cute when she is falling asleep in her dinner plate later!!

I haven't been around much the last few days and not sure how much I'll be around because I have my sister and two nieces and my parents here atm. Sister & co are going to stay at my brother's tonight so we won't have 10 bodies in beds tonight like we did last night :o
Went to the gym today for a personal training session. It was complimentary with my new membership, I'd love to add one every week but can't afford to atm. Maybe when our renos are finished. Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised to be told by the trainer that I'm actually in a lot better shape than I thought :) She said I'm doing well considering I haven't exercised regularly since I had DD and I've got a 7 mo baby. Didn't feel too fit when I walked out though, my legs and arms were like jelly! :lol: She recommended I start Pump classes next week so I'm going to try but I'm a bit scared!
Apart from that, nothing much happening here. D's sleep at night has not improved much unfortunately so I am starting to feel very tired. Last night wasn't too bad, he woke at 2am then 6am and back to sleep till 8am. If I could cut out that middle of the night wake/feed I'd be soooooo happy. Speaking of which, I'd better go wake him soon if I want him to go down at a reasonable hour.
Mako - massive, bloody huge and enormous hugs hon, and like Spring said, a little congrats are in order too. Can completely understand you must be feeling all over the shop at the moment, I'm glad you shared, so we can be here for you. Of course, I'm praying to the powers that be that this little bub can stay........... de-nile I think is an excellent place to be though. Hang in there as best you can, and keep hugging your little man xoxoxo

Not much for me to report, still getting ready for MIL arriving in the morning, she's 75 and has flown from Rome, so imagine she's going to be feeling a bit shattered, especially having to get the extra yards to Hobart. Figure I'll cook for her tomorrow, but ater that she's on her own ;)

AFU - Have had a lovely day out at the Puffing Billy railway for a Thomas the Tank Engine show, Luke loved it. I'm already getting sad about Mum leaving on Monday though and it's starting to affect me. That and AF's impending arrival next week. I'm thinking of testing Monday morning, would be a lovely surprise before Mum leaves but as I don't hold too much hope this month, it might also make her departure a million times worse. So probably shouldn't do it to myself. We'll see, I'm sure I won't be able to help myself.

I just want to share some good news with you all. I had my blood test done on Friday and I was scared to call my Ob to get my result this morning so when I was at my GP he rang for me and my level has risen to 18559 so I'm feeling a little more relaxed now and have decided not to do any more before my next scan next Tuesday. So now I need to take things easy and rest as much as I can and let my body hopefully do the right thing for this little bub.
I hope everyone had a great weekend. Sorry for the lack of personals lately :redface: Please know that I do think of you all often though.

Sorry, I'm not in the right frame of mind for more personals.. has been a VERY hard day with so many mixed emotions and I'm absolutely exhausted. Firstly, yes, I tested...... and got a BFP!!!! I still can't believe it. With DH away, I really didn't think we'd managed to get it but I have been feeling really, really tired and started getting my hopes up!! Thankfully that second line appeared and I nearly fell of the toilet!!! DH was very excited and we made DS run into my Mum and tell her that "mummy has a baby in her tummy".. needless to say Mum was thrilled too and it was nice to be able to tell her in person. Although as you all know, the excitement didn't last long and now I'm totally petrified... I just can't go through another loss... not over here on my own. It's freaking me out. We'll just have to wait and see I guess. God it's hard. And having to say goodbye to Mum today was just awful. My emotions are running hot as it is, so dropping her at the airport was not good. So many tears and driving away was so hard. I'm still crying now... and DH is out at uni tonight. It just sucks, I miss her so much and really need her now. I just feel like sh*t.
So many mixed emotions, I feel like I'm such a bloody mess right now and really need to get myself together. Doesn't help that DS has been an absolute nightmare.. never has he been so naughty and it's doing my head in. I'm starting to wonder where I went wrong and I just don't know what to do with him at times.
Anyway enough from me... sorry for the long and whingy post.

De-nile, thanks Michelle........... just keep business as usual, yes you are pregnant, and yes that means you can't drink or eat certain stuff, but as far as the rest of it goes, de-nile girl, keep it at a safe but still healthy distance. Easier said than done I'm sure............. truth be known, I'm absolutely BL--DY thrilled for you !!!!! Flynn just keeps getting cuter, he's talking now,and the co-ing and go-ing just melts you, especially when combined with one of his gorgeous grins - god I love my boy :p
Freya - how you going hon, are you keeping life and limb together with your testosterone-charged household, illness and Uni, oh AND bootcamp :o tired just typing that !!!

Well my MIL arrived safely yesterday, so far so good - not much to report, but she looked after Flynn while I took Remy swimming today, which is a great help to me not to drag bubba down to the pool as well as Remy. My girl is a scream during her lessons, my god she is LOUD, in a happy way, and she just wants to do her own thing, she's a bit wild I think, but I like this about her :redface: ;) Tonight I took DD 12 years swimming at 5.45pm - with the thought that I might get out of cooking????? Had a great swim with her, but still cooked when I got home, must work on this, and stay out just a bit longer. Oh yeah, this one will make you laugh or puke - Remy had a swim in our pool with her Dad, then was running around naked and loving it, poohed on the tiles (thank god not the carpet) and the puppy ate it :o
Well on that note, that's about all my brain can conjure up right now, sorry to those I missed, but sending you much good stuff anyway !!!

I know how scary this time is for you and I have to agree with Lee on the land of De Nile ;) It seems like a rather safe place to be hanging out in :hug: Have you started your low dose asprin for the ANA yet or do you have to wait a bit? I know I need to start mine as soon as I get a bfp. I'm praying so hard that this little bub is so so sticky hun.
As for Luke being naughty please don't beat yourself up over it. I know its hard but can you ignore his bad behaviour and only focus on the good behaviour?? I know its hard and we're going through a similar thing here atm too :hug:

We are still going well. DD has finally started sleeping through most nights and it is amazing!! DS still only needs two night feeds which isn't too bad and he settles really well after the first feed, just not the second. I actually feel fairly well rested for a mum of a newborn :)
